Yep. Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kovalev isn't much better than Petrov-Gimour-Zednik and Is the Koivu line much better than Berezin-Perreault-Kilger? Please...Price has been awesome and he certainly has saved our asses on numerous occasions, but to even compare the two teams is disrespectful to how good we are this year and also direspectful to how bad we were in 01-02. damn beat me to it Wamsley.

I'm actually hoping we throw Emelin right into an NHL job as a 6 or 7 d man next year. Keep him happy and by all accounts he is probably ready anyways. Sucks about Valentenko but we have a ton of top D man prospects anyways...

I think the conflict is between Rogers communications and CTV Globemdia. Does Rogers own Videotron? I don't think I'm missing too much anyways...it's basically a timeshift channel with the occasional NHL game.

I found it ironic that you said I was one of the lucky ones when really you were quite lucky to have a good insurance plan in the States. Look, I'm not saying the Canadian system is perfect. The walk-in clinic that I described is in Milton, but I've had bad experiences elsewhere with long wait times to see a doctor. The root of the issue for me is that there are Americans who are unable to receive the treatment that they require and that alone should be enough to warrant change. I'm still a student so for me to get into the tax issue is somewhat unfair, but I can safely say that I don't mind having to wait a few extra weeks to see a specialist if it means that my fellow Canadians can enjoy the right to be accepted and treated at a hospital regardless of their financial status.

I waited about 10 minutes last week...was actually a lot longer than I'm used to waiting too.

Was watching an Obama speech on CNN today. He was talking about an e-mail he got from a woman in Florida who's son had recently had some heart trouble. The procedure that her son equires costs thousands of dollars and the insurance company has refused to cover it. Seems like a perfect time to mention changes to the system right? Nope...Obama talks about not giving up and continuing to have hope etc. etc. before closing his speech. I am and will continue to be baffled that this is barely even a mainstream issue in the U.S. It seems like the only people who even advocate for universal healthcare are far-left "radicals". I can hardly even blame Obama for not advocating a system like this, because that would basically be politically suicide for him throughout much of the country.

Since when is that not enough to be a contender? Especially since a D that potentially includes Markov, Komi, Hammer, McDonagh, Subban, Emelin, Weber is MORE than solid. If our top 6 forwards in 5 years are Pleks, Higgins, Kosty x 2, Latendresse and Max Pac is anyone actually going to say we won't have enough to contend for a Cup?

I don't see how May ran the party into the ground. Say whatever you want about her (I'm not a fan) but the Green's had their most successful election to date no? I'd also argue that it was Preston Manning who destroyed the Right for a decade...Mulroney obviously didn't help but I bet the Liberals don't even get a majority in 1997 without a divided Right....in fact the Liberals might not have even won that election with a unified Right.

Mine was actually quite good. It would get slightly blotchy when the camera was moving back and forth too quickly, but I expected minor glitches like that. It only went choppy once in the third period, I refreshed and it was fine. Looked pretty good hooked up to my TV.

Sloppy to say the least. The Koivu line was invisible. Pleky line might have to carry us for a couple weeks while they find some chemistry, either that or they'll have to switch the lines up (not a big fan of having Tangs and Koivu on the same line to begin with). Great game from Lang though which was a pleasant surprise. Let's beat those laffs.

I think that was the first exciting game of the postseason so far...sucks that there wasnt a single 1-1 split though...
