Althoght I will say I have no idea about other teams prospect lists But whos capapble of stepping in this year from Hamilton? Nobody. D'Agostini and Paccioretty are already there dont count them. Price and Halak have been there a few years now No defensmen are coming this year. Subban needs atleast a year in the AHL. Emelin may never come. McDonaugh is a few years away? Definitley no forwards. Where the #1 centre in the system that the club has required since Bobby Smith was here? Maybe Kirk Muller? Where the big powerforward in the system? Ryan White? Ben Maxwell? Danny Kristo? These are part of the best prospects in the league? And no goalie prospects? Where are all these prospects you speak of?

Streit would have been worth the $4 Million. And Montreal probably could have had him cheaper. Had Bob tabled him an offer during the season How can you tell? Look at the Powerplay. They lost Souray and Streit stepped in and Montreal stillhad the best powerplay in the league. It was their weapon, which made the competive. You could not take penalities agains the Canadiens or they would score on you. Look at those two seasons. They were shooting at almost a 30% clip on the powerplay. We took that for granted Striet walks away in Free Agency, and Montreals powerplay drops towards the bottom of the league. Low and behold, Montreal drops from 1st in the east to 8th. Coincidence? I think not And Streit was versatile play defense and was a 3rd and 4th line player. Losing him really hurt this club Not only that, but Bob probably does not have to trade for Schneider this year, and we still have a second rd pick. Lets all wait and see in a few years who Atlanta drafts and how they turn out, or who might have been available. Lets hope its not another Lucic or Bergeron.

I cannot understand how anyone thinks Mike Komisarek is worth anything more than $4 Million a year. So what if hes big. The guy got schooled badly by Milan Lucic. He provides absolutley nothing offensively and when not paired with Andrei Markov, looks like a 5th or 6th defenseman at best. I am going to be so dissapointed if anybody signs this guy for more than $4 to $4.5 Million a year for a long term contract. Obviously that whole lockout was bullshit

Why is it that Montreal keeps drafting the shitty or 3rd line French players, Eric Chouinard, Maxime Lapierre, and Gill latendresse and fails to draft the good ones Bergeron, Vlasic, Giroux, DENIS SAVARD? Ok can blame Timmins for that one, but you get the point. Not saying drafting is easy. Yet Timmins seems to miss alot. Time to go in a different direction. I'd say trade the 1st rd pick to either Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Philly or New ersey for their Head Scout, or whole scouting department

As well no free agents will sign here either wtih the media, Bob 'no class' Gainey as the GM and the tax situation. I'd be amazed if he remains as big as he is, while being a vegertian. You lose a large amount of protein, which is hard to get elsewhere and have your body use is properly and considering his size, and being a very physical athlete I am willing to bet he eats alot of meat.
