Yeah, I'm just afraid that if we used him in a shootout, he would pass instead of shooting. Well actually Higgins was one of the shooters last night. And he scored a beauty. Both teams had one goal in the first three attempts, so Ryder was our fourth guy, and he won it.

We beat the Islanders in the Conference final on our way to the Cup in '93. Not only did we beat them, we thoroughly manhandled them in 5 easy games. Thanks in part to the lacklustre goaltending of one Glen Healy, a man whose career was defined by mediocrity. I would go to the memorial service wearing my Habs jersey and kick every leaf supporter in attendance in the pills.

Well I'm excited that we won. It really would have left a bad taste in my mouth if we had lost, having to wait til wednesday before our next game. Now, having said that, somebody has to tell Samsonov to just shoot the damn puck once in a while! Did you see with 2 seconds left in the 3rd and he had the puck in close to the net and he passed to the point?! It's a good thing we didn't use him in the shootout, he probably would have been looking for a pass.

Yes, a good manhandling of the laughs should take care of this pain and misery. And if we come out with the same intensity and speed as we did tonight, we should easily be able to thrash that pathetic excuse for a hockey team.
