Great to here he will be at training camp, and also we need koivu there, there arn't so many players that are so passionit for the game and gives him of his own to show rookies tips and pointers. Koivu is a HUGE part of this team. True we have to learn to play with out him in the line up but i can say the same thing about Markov...

Saku i say can play a little better, but thinking of it how much weight is put on his back he should score more he should be a better leader, help the rookies in there development, ect...as where kovalev can put up so much more numbers when he didn't, ok he was with Ribiero but still Kovalev should play on his game more often then half the time.

If anything has to be changed it would have to be upgrade on second line center, thats it thats all nothing more, and i do say we have a contending team.

Carbo will help all elements , Miller would be there as a pep talk coach as i see since hes a winner. Also considering how close all these guys are when they played together just strengthens the team as a whole and if the coachs are close it should make the players closer.

Nah Nah, Good luck with ribs changing, he wont and if he does GOD DO I HOPE SO!. But in Brier your getting another small player yes, but with talent , speed, heart, AND SOMEONE WHO CAN PLAY ALOT BETTWE WITH HIS LINEMATES!, The best player i seen ribs play constantly with besides Kovalev was...Dagenais.....and wow he sucks the bag. Koivu wouldn't care thats why he was named Captian for reasons like this, Kovalev maybe, but too bad its been done Kovalev didnt go to arbitration and its only for one year so...and i think Brier is a RFA anyways next season so what does it matter, Also Ribiero is small i don't know what you say he might be 6'1 but im sorry he a toothpick when Brier has Muscle over his frame. And i agree with you 100% on that size thing.

That wont happen if you have a good center, they wont put all the talent on one line lol. And also Speed KILLS! so smaller or wtv means nothing when you have speed, I know from experiance lol Its amazing when no one can catch you

one think i wanna know is whats up with all the one year signings. My idea is that they sign them for less and see how they do this season then sign them to X amout depending what they did in the season. For example Higgins: Like if he does the same or better then last season give him more money.. But for Perezhogin, Komisarek and who ever...Perezhogin still has some hearts to win over, While Komi has won some hearts.. And does anyone know where i go to see who will be a UFA next season??? Because higgins and Perez i unno lol

Well if souray leaves streit gets a starting spot i wouldnt know if thats a good idea or not..but then we can not lose markov for a looooong time, untill Komisarek gets his forum.

ahaha i completly forgot about higgins i was to much into the hype lol I wanna get this out though so since people jumped down everyones throat about the ryder thing. I really wouldnt mind ryder getting traded, perezhogin really needs to play on the 2nd line, because 10min on the third line will not bring that kids moral and potential up...and it will ruin him. Get ride of Rib and Ryder in a package deal with Aebischer and were set all bashers bash on!!!

Cammon kiddies this thread almost hit 1000 views ( I never had a thread this big ) Ok Samsonov is a habs! i love it whats your idea. line idea 1 Line idea 2 Kostitsyn-Koivu-Perezhogin Samsonov-Koivu-Perezhogin Samsonov-Ribiero-Kovalev Kostitsyn-Ribiero-Kovalev Murray-Johnsson-Plekanec Same Begin-Bonk-Downie Same Markov-Streit--------------------------------> Souray-Komisarek--------------------------> Rivet-Dandenault ---------------------------> Huet/Aebischer-------------------------------> Line 1 because Kostitsyn and perezhogin wont work well with Ribs ( who does...) and koivu should make them better at the game in both ends. And samsonov with kovalev to make dynamic scary second line and make Ribs look good for once. Line 2 mainly to give it a little bit of a mix. And about the ryder thing he can be there but i rather trade him for wtv if these players show up.
