Bulis is one of those guys that teams typically overpay. He is supposedly loaded with talent, brimming with potential .... but will he ever fulfill the promise of the upper-tier player he is destined to be? Possibly, but most likely - no. Sadly - no. I hope Bulis remains with the Habs next year - but I really hope BG doesn't overpay for his services and the HOPE that he becomes a consistent 20 goal scorer and superior defensive forward.

although i hope Gainey spends up to the cap ceiling next season, i'm concerned if he locks into multi-year contracts with above-average, but not star, players. a lot of the players being mentioned are either not-stars or are past-their-prime stars. go ahead, BG - spend all you can ... but keep the length of the contracts low ... REAL low

plus - isn't Bulis a UFA this off-season? some commentators speculate that he won't resign with the Habs ... BTH - do you have any insider knowledge for us?
