I said it above but I guess you didn't see it, he had 47 pts last year and +4, how is that not showing anything? On the habs he'd be what top 4 on the team in scoring..his numbers seem similar to . . . . WIZ except cheaper than what Wiz was signed for.

Kaberle had 47 pts last year and +4, how is that a bust? I guess we have different versions of what a bust is. I am open to change, lets see what he brings. As has been said in other threads...if not Kaberle, who? Markov seems to be hinted at gone til after all-star break, the habs need something.

Haha oh noes the sky is falling the sky is falling. I think as habs fans it's easier to be negitive about change and then can be happily surprised than try to be positive for once. The biggest issue with this team is not giving up goals it's scoring on the PP, Kaberle is a PP guy...so PG has addressed this need. Forget the money. Fans seem to think just BECAUSE we have money available the habs will get the best player, thats not the truth. How many times have the habs offered comparable or more money for a player and for them to turn the habs down? Part of this is due to us as fans and how we flip out and react so negitively to any kind of move.

I dunno this seems off. Are you saying that a trade of Moen for E.Stall would not be a steal? Moen has a better +/- and more goals this year.

I am going to reserve judgment til I see him play. Many players have been written off as toast only to get a new life with a new team, some even close to the vest in regards to the habs (Riberio, Beauchiman, Grabsac, etc). So if this gets the PP going I am happy.

Cammy is turning into Kovy v2.0

What I really liked last night was the forecheck and the fact we ACTUALLY have one. We were disrupting the sharks break outs and that puts less stress on our d-men.

I like AKs hits...he can devastate opposing players, especially when he gets angry. My opinion has changed of AK, I realize how talented and physical he can be...compared to Cammy haha.

Well you forgot to mention AK...he's lead the habs in hits for the last what 3-4 years I believe.

There are other reasons for my distaste of JMs coaching. It is so boring watching these players saddled down by a defense first system. These players are not built for it..they are built for speed, and I just find everything about him boring. I don't watch the habs out of some sick sense of loyalty, I watch them to be entertained AND out of some sick sense of loyalty. TLDR version: JM is boring. Entertain me. Heck get Roy in there...entertaining media scrums at least!

Hmm ok I'll bite Commandant, I can assume from your posts that you are in the 'it is not JMs fault' camp, and that is respectable, I just cannot see your line of thinking on this. Is his message not getting across? What is his message? They definitely follow his defensive message, but I for the life of me cannot discern a offensive game plan besides the old shoot from everywheres and see what happens.

Personally winning is entertaining...but would you rather lose a lustless 3-1 game or a 5-4 down to the wire game? With the style of game the habs play right now, I just don't feel like they have the guns to come back from more than a 1 goal lead, that never use to be the case, I am just depressed that the team has gotten so far down. I am a emotional guy, I like seeing emotions from other people...I remember when Subban would light up the ice with his personality, Price would do a pose, players would jump into the boards after a goal..now I see is 'all business', some may appreciate it...I don't. Winning isn't everything, it's the most important, but when a team doesn't get passion from a coach, I can see how it would trickle down to the players. This is a no-knowledge thought, and it has been brought up before, that maybe Muller was that emotion the players needed, something JM seems incapable of doing, maybe he was more than just the PP guy, maybe he was the shock the players needed when they couldn't get things going. A name I heard come up on HIO that was interesting was Ted Nolan.

I agree with HR29, this team is not fun to watch. E-N-T-E-R-T-A-I-N-M-E-N-T. That's what I want from my games...remember the firewagon hockey under Carbo (this is by no means indicating I want Carbo back, I thought he was a disaster), the team was exciting to watch. This team is not. Drastic moves need to be made, for years us fan have bemoaned the habs not taking risks in trades, well they did in Gomez and it failed, we move on, it shouldn't stop the team from taking more risks. Maybe the habs need to suck for a couple of years to get out of this funk, all I know is I personally do not enjoy what JMs coaching style is, this is me as a fan, not as a analysis, I want a coach that can reward good play (no matter how many years in the league), this is a young players league, the best players are mostly under 28, the young guns have to feel free to play their game, make mistakes and not worry if they will be nailed to the bench. That attitude is archaic and old school. The habs can't seem to find that dynamic player through the draft, I thought we had it in Cammy, but he's turning into a bust (this season), maybe it's time to open the vaults and make a run at Parise, Ryan, Carter, someone.

Everyone is depressed and I can understand that but it's not like we're getting blown out...yeah...I'm just trying to look on the bright side...but it's getting hard haha. Just saying..I told you I was bad luck when I made the GDT...I blame ALL of you that do not step up and make the GDT for all the troubles we've had this year!!

Haha I knew I'd see the usual comments..."PP sucked...goal scored at the end of the period." The PP is at least shooting..the ducks are doing a good job at getting in the lanes though.
