Is everybody ready for reconstruction?? I'm sure part of the our plroblems is that the habs always refused to rebuild. they say we have to start with a good goalie: we have price. then you start with good D Men and after you bring fowards. in kostitsyn, chipchura, higgins, plekanec, perezhogin and latendresse, we have a good core of fowards. by doing a fire sale, we'd be able, in the next 2-3 years, to bring solid D. i'm sure in four years we'd be out of the slumps and back stronger than ever. but for now, we need to sell theodore, koivu, zednik, bonk...

I'm sure he's eager to play against chara on thursday

what's is salary ?? it is gonna save some cap money but not for this year though. they'd be stupid to start reconstructing right now when you can aim at the no 1 pick overall. I expect the pens to be quite active on the market this summer

as of now , perezhogin as two assists in nine games so I don't see why he should be called back.

not having higgins in hurts. here,s a guy you don't notice first but he ends up doing the job. I would like to see him on a line with plekanec and kostitsyn. and give the guys some ice time. anyways, guys like sundstrom zednik, bonk...dont deserve ice time

I, for one would like to see another player named captain. under koivu, we went through how many coaches and we never, ever passed the second round. I think a guy like rivet should be in charge but in order to be effective, koivu has to go. another stupid move: zednik an assistant....come on..the worst player in the team, along with bonk

roy was cut from team canada and they played with craig billington and chris terreri(if I'm not mistaking for that one) the year that brodeur was cut, jamie storr and trevor kidd kept goal for team canada. so lets not draw conclusion too fast...you`re not drafted 5th overall for nothing..the kid,s special... also: garon and theodore were second roundres and they pretty good. thing s look good in 2-3 years

I don't think we ca expect anything major but we,ll have to make room for plekanec. I don,t think a guy like murray will be sent down...If anything, he might trade talent for grit or size like he did went he traded for murray. can anybody tell me the trade deadline this year?

we need wingers who are willing to pay the price in the corners and in front of the net. right now, we don`t have anybody..except for our 3rd and 4th liners. zednik and ryder should give us more kovi...some days he`s ok but not all the time bulis...he tries hard but he`s better off being a centerman higgins...not ready yet and I don`t think he`ll be a 1st or 2nd liner the way latendresse`s playing, he won`t be in the NHL next year, he looks like he has a big ego...it needs to be cracked a little. I`m sure he`ll do the job in two years in montreal but now, we need help on the wings...stat!!

I wouldn`t sign him for too much money, the guy's always injured. I know he`ll a get a raise but I just hope it`s too much so we can bring a big winger to give him and kovalev some support. and if bob decides not to sign him, I hope he`ll go chasing jokinen...

you're right, but smart players don't need to be that fast..it's all about positioning...a guy like jarvis or carbonneau can teach him how to efficient in that aspect. as for the rest, he'll never be a goal scorer, but he'll be a good player

enforcers who can skate are rare nowadays. in almost every team, the tough guy play got his ice time reduced...it's seems that only toronto(who else) give quality ice time to Domi. I'M one of the guys wh think aan enforcer would be welcomed..but who ?? please don't tell me Ivanans or vandermeer...they stink... we're at least 2-3 years away from seeing bonneau...if he does make It. for now, I think guys like rivet, souray, bouillon and komisarek should share the dirty job

huet seems to be a good goalie...he actually was no 1 in L.A. before the trade...when chechmanek was underacheiving...if luongo refuses florida's offer, look for theodore been traded and huet doning the job until roberto's sign in mtl this summer. anyway, can,t wait to see what gainey has to say
