I agree, I've made excuses for Eller in the past, and still like him as a player, but I don't see him the way I used to. He was all potential and that's pretty much run out. He was drafted with Subban and Pacioretty for god sake, and they are seen as top 5 (or higher) at their positions. At 3.5, he's not quite enough. wouldn't be upset with a trade

Exactly,Although I have suggested it in the past, I would trade neither DD or Plex now. Very happy with DD when he isn't our #1, and he's been producing so well. Plex is playing as a #1. Besides, this team is as good as it is because it's a TEAM. Trading DD or Plex wouldn't help the chemistry at all. There have been enough leadership shakeups. The only people who make sense to trade while the team is performing so well are those such as Tinordi who is sitting in the box, or prospects we can afford to lose IMO.

Fleischman/DD/Weise are why MTL is doing so well. Patches/Plex/Gally have been steady performers for years (No knock on DD), but both lines are producing at first line rates right now. This team is damn interesting to watch! Now all we need is to figure out Chucky's RWer. Wayne Simmonds could use a change of scenery

So, this team either has two prices, or people (outside of us) should really start to see that the Habs aren't all Carey Price. I think that besides the fact that Carey is the best goalie in the league, something about the team is good for the goalie. Condons performance is proving that. Shots from low scoring areas?
