Everyone is going to have ups and downs in a season, yes Saku too. What do you want him to do about Theo....I'm sure he's tried everything...or do you want Saku to put pads on himself and go in net. No-one in this forum knows what happens behind the scenes, in the dressing room, on a day to day basis, or on the bench during a game. I'm sure Saku got the money he deserved with BG's blessing because he is a great leader.......... Just because Finland is winning doesn't make Saku a great leader. If they were losing it would still be the same guy. Same goes for Montreal, only they are losing. Saku is still Saku only a little richer now.....probably for being exactly who he is, and not his goal scoring abilities. Leadership does not always equal WINS. A team is as strong as it's weakest link. The habs have a lot of weak links....that is not Saku's fault. Saku seems to be a natural born leader, he's lucky, and that should never be questioned. As far as Ribeiro goes........If he really did say that......Geez....I want to like him, but he is a natural born sh**head. It just shows how clueless that guy really is... MORON!!!!

If by some chance Theo was to regain his form due to a change of scenery....the last place I, you, anyone who considers themselves a habs fan would want it to be is the leafs. We can at least control that part of this whole situation.........I would have to stop watching hockey untill Theo retires......... Besides, we will get rid of Theo in the summer, or maby Gainey really wants to see what he brings next year.......Either way, I really don't see how Belfour would help our situation......not by giving them Theo anyway......

For the sake of the Montreal Canadiens......I mean really......Theo was most likely on steroids aswell.....They found a drug in him to cover it up....Now he gets the rest of the year to clean up. He is having a bad season already, and now he has to shake the doping thing. Along with loss of confidence........He needs time to figure this out. Time the HABS don't have..........I think this is the only choice the team had in order to salvage the season and get the media off their back. BG was going to go with Huet anyway. It's creepy, but a good way to deal with all of this.... Go HABS Go!!!!!!

I'd like to hear what hospital he went to. and what doctor x-rayed him........... This is strategic politics and the only reason Bob Gainey is doing this is because he can't get rid of Theo and get something good in return. If you beleive for 1 second that Theo is really hurt that bad, then your a fool. This is a good thing either way..............Huet is officially #1 for the next 2 months.............We may have even just made room for a big salary pick-up ......... He has all kinds of reason and motivation to do well in the ahl. So he can be traded to a team in the nhl? that would be a good one.......and the waiver rule is great.....It keeps already good teams from keeping great players on the farm. This way a crap team can pick them off keeping the nhl balanced which at the end of the day makes perfect sense........

I have to add.... I beleive in our team and they will pull through and get hot just before the play-offs and they will upset ottawa....I can't wait. With that said...Our threads have been in a slump too. I've never read such boring useless information on this site since I joined this summer. Everyone is ready to ditch the team but as soon as they win they knew they had it in them. I'm guilty aswell. Stop trying to figure it out...they are the only ones to do it untill then just wish them,and for the best.... SOON!!! Personally.....I want Koivu around same with Kovalev, Ribeiro, Theo, Souray....when the habs are winning they are great and they will be again........ This slump will make them stronger when they come out of it........the kids will learn too......How not to ever go there again.......Sometimes it's hard to see the good in these situations. As far as I'm concerned BG is now teaching how to reach deep into your soul and get more out of yourself then you thought was possible. The players we have are good enough and will get through this!! Maby our threads will be more interesting then.......
