Sean Avery is just looking to get his scrawny little name in the news because he is a nobody on a team as a spare part. How can you take a guy that scores 17 goals in 163 games seriously, which of all goals probably came when playing with Yzerman. This is his 5 minutes of fame and I will just ignore this biggot! He will not be famous for anything else because he is small, stupid and a useless hockey player. If he was small and a goal scorer or small and gritty or small and gifted two way player this would still not be right. Maybe he can claim he was brain dead when he said these things. Pretty well all the crap we have had to deal with now is a direct result of Houle's usefull time. - Loss of Roy, Keen, Brasher for nothing of equal value. Trading away of picks. Stupid trades, believing in Tremblay fresh out of the announcers booth with no coaching experience. Looks to me he was not as impressive as you might believe as hard times are still at hand.

Very nicely said TheMaxDaddy. This is not a case of a greedy player. He is worth $2million. From what I have seen of him this should be a no brainer for Boston.

We need the "Sneaky Deal". You know the type where we trade someone to a western conference team for Boyton. Of course that said team would have to make a deal to get him. The 3 and 4 team deals can work too, just like the NBA. Just have to try to get the guy you want on the team!

Not sold on Rivet or Bouillon. Are they good? 10,000 times better than I could ever be so I would never bad mouth them. We have a good pair in Souray and Markov. After that it is all question marks. Is Hainsey the answer, still hard to tell as he shows flashes of great play and then rookie mistakes. I would hate to trade Bullis as he is providing an interesting offensive aspect to the game, which I never really noticed before. He seems to be very confident in the other teams zone and willing o shoot the puck. Now having said this, if we can get a bonified stud defenseman for him I say we have to make the trade. We cannot go through the entire season and hope Jose can stop 45-50 shots a night and play 70 games. It would wear him out. Witt out of Washington would be good; Morris on the other hand mentioned in this thread is way too soft which is why Colorado traded him.

He's not doing too good either... Hainsey has a tough time on the PP. Can't seem to be getting good shots on net or making good passes. Reminds me of a younger Brisebois who'd get all his shots blocked. AP79 true on the offensive comment, but we do need guys that can hit too.

I seriously hope Boston plays a little better so we can see how good Danis is. They had maybe 3 or four good chances against him. I never realized that Isbister was so HugE!!!

Is this not nice having to choose between players instead of wondering if they are good enough.

Of the fans fortunate to see this on RDS, do you think this team is going to be exciting now that we have plays and pin point passing. I know this is preseason, however you have to admit it is exciting to see hungry young players trying to make the squad. The passing and the hitting in the first period was great. Zed had a good period and to think some wanted to trade him for another goalie. No way, he is goal scorer and we need him..... Hainsey finally over the flu bug and looks great and is playing tough. Penalty in front of Danis shows he wants to be here. :hlogo:

I will defend Houle the hockey player as I was him in streetball games I will not defend him as the GM as it was an unforgettable time for me. The pain............ I will defend Trembley the hockey player as he was another habs Hero of mine. I will not defend Trembley the horrible coach that cost us Roy and Brasher. Trembley the tough guy lost the room and we lost good players. I will not defend Corey the penny pincher at all. I will also not go back to that time again as it was tough for the organization. Nicely done ATHLÉTIQUE.CANADIEN From what I have seen I really like Bonk, Hossa and Plekanec. I could not find any stats either and this was great. NHL.com definitely needs to get their act together to be the complete source for everything NHL. It is a good site though. :ghg:

However (There is always a however) we need to make sure our defense is solid. Jose is the man, Danis needs a shot at backup. If Huet is so good trade him for a good young future defenseman. There are many goalies in the organization and adding another one will not make this team better. If we were looking for a starting goalie then beckham brought up a good idea. Try to get Buffalos best. He will not be free and would cost us dearly. Plus $2.5 million Nah!:nono:
