  1. Despite a late PP, Hamilton couldn't complete the comeback. 6-5 final. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1008317
  2. Smoley hokes, now it's 6-5! Schultz scores in back to back games, I think I'm going to faint. 3:15 left.
  3. Wyman scores with just over 5 minutes left, now 6-4. A defensive battle for sure.
  4. Jamie Koharski strikes again. That is all.
  5. As expected, Mayer is in now. Palushaj scored a pair to get the deficit to 1 before the PK woes struck again. 5-3, late 2nd. And now 6-3...Rissmiller on the PP. 3 PPG's in 4 penalty kills, special teams need some work.
  6. Just when you didn't think it could get worse, it does. Rochester scores with a whopping 3 seconds left in the frame. Mayer time to start the 2nd I think.
  7. And now 3-1...this ain't good with next to no offence in the lineup.
  8. The PK woes continue for Hamilton (PPG allowed in 9 straight games), 2-1 Amerks.
  9. Looks like the same lineup as yesterday so no Boyd or Dawes. MacIntyre in again, clearly showing that no one has confidence in Mayer.
  10. The Dogs one-up the Habs' early start from yesterday...Conboy scores just 11 seconds in! Unlike the Habs yesterday, the opposition scores just 28 seconds later, 1-1...39 seconds in.
  11. I know you're a fan of that site, but I find most of their stuff to be baloney. Everything I've heard is that he simply wasn't shopped at all but they would listen if a team was interested. From that, there was interest, but the Habs weren't going to give him away. Since when have reporters associated with the Habs complied with a friendly organizational request? Everything gets leaked out whether they want it to or not.
  12. The Bulldogs (35-23-7) once again look to avoid potentially sliding out of a playoff spot as they host division rival Rochester (29-31-6), the doormats of the North Division. As a result, expect Robert Mayer to get the start today. No word on what's ailing Dawes and Boyd, hopefully one of the two are back for this one. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Mike Duco (17) Assists: Mike Kostka (33) Points: Mike Kostka (45) PIMS: Eric Selleck (191) +/-: A.J. Jenks (+5) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Nigel Dawes (33) Assists: Aaron Palushaj (26) Points: Nigel Dawes (54) PIMS: Jimmy Bonneau (155) +/-: Brendon Nash (+16) Puck drop is at 4:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  13. The Habs' odds moved up to a season high 99.8% last night, or a 1 in 500 chance they'd miss. As a result, the majority of the games listed for the next while (barring a losing streak) will basically just be focusing on the average finishing position (in brackets). The magic number points wise to clinch the playoffs is 15, between points earned by the Habs and points not earned by Carolina. The Habs also hold the tiebreak on every team in the East with the exceptions of Philly, Boston, and Washington (tied with them currently) as a result of the new ROW tiebreaking rule (Regulation + Overtime Wins).
  14. After a bit of a delay that added a couple seconds more to the clock, now the game ends, Hamilton gets their revenge (sort of) with a 3-2 win. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1008308
  15. Texas scores on the PP late to make it 3-2. Henry going after the ref as apparently this one's an iffy goal.
  16. Bishop scores, now 3-1! The cavalry is getting the job done...
  17. Conboy scores to make it 2-1! First goal in 14 games I believe. Masse and Dumont the helpers.
  18. 1-1 after 2. No Boyd or Dawes in this one, 7 d-men dressed for the Bulldogs. This is a pretty ugly looking lineup...
  19. Schultz has the Bulldogs' lone goal, his first point of the season and his pro career, tied at 1 in the 2nd.
  20. HW 3 Stars: http://www.habsworld.net/article.php?id=2420
  21. What's swansee being honoured with?
  22. It was a snoozer at times but that was nearly the perfect road game, timely scoring and good defence. HW 3 Stars coming up...soon at least.
  23. It's a rematch of Game 7 of last year's Western Conference Finals as the Bulldogs (34-23-7), winners of just 2 of their last 12, host the Stars (34-22-10). Depending on what else happens today, Hamilton could be out of the playoffs with a loss due to the crossover. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Greg Rallo (21) Assists: Travis Morin (21) Points: Greg Rallo (41) +/-: Travis Morin (+10) PIMS: Mathieu Tousignant (103) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Nigel Dawes (33) Assists: Aaron Palushaj (25) Points: Nigel Dawes (54) +/-: Brendon Nash (+16) PIMS: Jimmy Bonneau (155) Puck drop is at 4:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  24. Nope, emergency callups are exempt from the recall limit. So if a forward goes down today and Darche isn't ready for Tuesday, the Habs would be able to call a forward up from Hamilton without it counting against the limit, as long as said forward immediately returns to Hamilton upon someone else (either Darche or the player hurt in this scenario) being available to return to the lineup.
  25. Should note that since we lost this game...something about the GDT...
