  2. Habs' starting lines: Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovský Roy - Newhook - Armia Anderson - Evans - Gallagher Pearson - White - Ylonen Matheson - Guhle Xhekaj - Savard Harris - Kovacevic Allen Primeau
  3. Primeau in net tonight and rosters remain the same except Colin White plays 4th line centre. Hoping for another great game by Roy and a rebound for our first line.
  4. Canadiens: Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsku Armia - Evans - Gallagher Roy - Newhook - Anderson Pearson - Gignac - Ylonen Matheson - Guhgle Struble - Savard Xhekaj - Harris Montembeault Primeau Sabres: Skinner - Thompson - Tuch Benson - Krebs - Peterka Greenway - Mittelstadt - Cozens Robinson - Girgensons - Okposo Dahlin - Jokiharju Bryson - Clifton Clague - Johnson Luukkonen Comrie
  5. No idea about lines but Guhle is on the ice for practice - surprise, surprise. Primeau hasn’t played in a month but not sure who gets the start. Suzuki is playing excellent hockey and so is my man Slafkovsky. Go Habs Go
  6. Nobody has picked up the ball ... but even if we win I'm not doing the next game
  7. EARLY start on this ... felt like the best place to mention that I would prefer Condotta and Stephens be called up for Tuesday's game, giving Newhook the extra four days until the Dallas game in Montreal on the 10th.
  8. No news on lines Harris in because "we are healthy and it is a competitive league" ... I would also note that Pittsburgh has the 3rd fewest PIMs per game, not the most physical team Harris always impresses me with how he handles himself with the media
  9. Caufield - Suzuki - Anderson Slafkovsky - Monahan - Armia Gallagher - Evans - RHP Pearson - Condotta - Pezzetta Matheson - Savard Struble - Guhle Xhekaj - Kovacevic Montembeault Allen
  10. Allen in net tonight but I have no idea what the lines might look like. Pearson is expected back and surely Xhekaj will be playing. I do expect an absolute beat down against Ottawa - a revenge game boosted by Xhekaj’s presence. Go Habs Go
  11. The Canadiens practiced at TD Garden ahead of their matchup with the Bruins on Saturday. Head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed during his pregame press conference that forward Josh Anderson will return to the lineup in Boston. The 29-year-old forward has not played since Jan. 11 against the Sharks. He's been evaluated on a day-to-day basis (lower. body) since then. Anderson is slated to play his 499th NHL game. Samuel Montembeault will start for the Canadiens for the seventh time in 11 games. Here’s the projected lineup for tonight’s game: Forwards Jesse Ylonen and Tanner Pearson, as well as defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic rotated in on occasion. None of the three are expected to play against the Bruins.
  12. After a hard-fought victory in New Jersey, the Habs head to Ottawa for a second game of a back-to-back. Will they take the Senators seriously enough or will it be a San Jose-style letdown? We'll be looking forward to the new 14 to pot a goal or two tonight. Habs' lines: Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsku RHP - Evans - Gallagher Roy - Monahan - Armia Pezzetta - Stephens - Ylonen Guhle - Matheson Struble - Savard Harris - Barron Primeau Allen
  13. Did you know that the Habs have only met Devils once in the playoffs (and it did not end well)? I had not realized that ... Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky RHP - Evans - Gallagher Roy - Monahan - Armia Pezzetta -Stephens - Ylonen Matheson - Guhle Struble - Savard Harris - Kovacevic Montembeault Primeau
  14. Another playoff team comes to the Bell Centre for a visit. Projected lines: Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky RHP - Evans - Gallagher Roy - Monahan - Armia Pezzetta - Stephens - Ylonen Matheson - Guhle Struble - Savard Harris - Kovacevic Allen Primeau
  15. No idea about lines yet or who is starting in net. I do expect a much better game from the Habs after that Thursday stinker against the worst team in the league. Roy being called up is exciting. I’m hoping that he takes Anderson’s spot. Go Habs Go
  16. It's a battle of two Hall of Fame...mascots. vs
  17. From back in the day (thanks to tomh009) But Primeau starting in goal
  18. The Canadiens held an optional morning skate at the Bell Centre on Saturday ahead of their first of three meetings with the Eastern Conference-leading Rangers this season. On Friday, head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed that Samuel Montembeault would get the nod in goal against the Blueshirts. The 26-year-old netminder is 3-0-1 against New York in his career. Emil Heineman was recalled from the American Hockey League on Friday and was on the ice ahead of Saturday’s outing. St-Louis confirmed during his pregame press conference that the 22-year-old will be in the lineup tonight. The Canadiens' bench boss also said that the team will return to a 12 forward, six defenseman roster on Saturday. Johnathan Kovacevic will not dress against the Rangers.
  19. I haven’t seen any reports about Anderson but I doubt that he plays. His leg bent in a way that it shouldn’t! No word on starting goalie or rosters but I will update when they become available. Go Habs Go
  20. Lines to follow, starting goalie to follow. Habs could use a win and I hope Slafkovsky continues to put up points. Go Habs Go Edit - Marty says same lineup again:
  21. From www.nhl.com/canadiens/news: 2. The team will not hold a morning skate ahead of their tilt with the Cats but did take the ice on Friday at the Florida Panthers IceDen in preparation for tonight’s game. Head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed that Jake Allen will face the Panthers. 3. It will be a homecoming of sorts for Mike Matheson; the 29-year-old defenseman is expected to play his 500th career NHL game against the team that drafted him 23rd overall in 2012. That is all I've found about tonight.
