Announced after the St. Johns game.
-
Will join the team in Columbus.

We knew there were callups coming as the Habs were only carrying 11 forwards. They're back to 13 now as Andrighetto and Lessio have been recalled. Lessio is in a real slump right now but if they're looking for speed on the 4th line, he's their guy - he can really skate.

Lets see if it helps

Charles "Keanu Reeves" Hudon is expected to be called up.

Common sense has finally struck, Tokarski is being sent down to St. John's to actually play in some games. He'll play three times this week for the IceCaps to get into game shape. Zach Fucale will serve as backup in the meantime. http://canadiens.nhl.com/club/blogpost.htm?id=43281 (On a side note, these daily transactions are getting annoying in terms of cap tracking. I preferred the beginning of the year when there weren't any roster changes...)

This is the guy I've been wanting to see. North south guy who lives around the crease. Wonder if he can score without Hudon

Sven scores two goals, moves into third in team scoring, and gets the first call-up. http://lastwordonsports.com/2015/11/20/canadiens-recall-sven-andrighetto-from-ahl/

Anticipating a Beaulieu suspension? Looking at it again on youtube, the principle point of contact was the left shoulder. The stick slid up as Rinaldo kept coming forward. Shouldn't be a suspension anyway because he just put up his stick to protect himself from a guy who is known as a loose cannon. We'll see.

With Hamilton done, the Habs have made some recalls. There are some surprising omissions though... G - Condon D - Dietz, Lernout F - Carr, Hudon (inj.), Thomas Andrighetto, assuming his injury from last night is minor, is likely heading to Team Switzerland for the Worlds which is probably why he's omitted. Tangradi not getting a recall is a bit of a surprise though. Tinordi, Allen, Dumont, Bowman, and Bournival all have some sort of injury that likely precludes them from going up. http://www.habsworld.net/2015/04/habs-recall-six-to-their-black-ace-squad/

Demoted Tinordi assigned to Hamilton Dumont back up April 4th

Hopefully that's good news with respect to players potentially coming back from injury. White skated on his own today, perhaps he'll be ready to come back soon. Both players will be back with the Habs in a few weeks when Hamilton's season ends. I imagine Weber is also ready to go. -
@CanadiensMTL: Les Canadiens ont rappelé le défenseur Jarred Tinordi des Bulldogs de Hamilton. \ Canadiens recall Jarred Tinordi from Hamilton. Looks like he'll play hits first game against the devils.

@CanadiensMTL Gabriel Dumont a été rappelé des Bulldogs de Hamilton. / Gabriel Dumont called up from the @BulldogsAHL. https://twitter.com/CanadiensMTL/sta...01784309288961 More than likely this means Bourque is on the IR and they wanted an extra forward before Nokies comes back. But maybe another trade in the works.

Robert Mayer and Gabriel Dumont have been called-up from Hamilton. They should be in Montreal for tomorrow's practice Source Habs Twitter

For real this time, no airport sighting necessary. Louis Leblanc sent down in his place...just after I edited the contracts page on the site no less, sigh. Palushaj apparently was also recalled although I don't remember him being sent down unless it was a 'paper transaction' at the beginning of the day.

Thus ends Ryan White's conditioning stint although I'd be absolutely stunned if he played tomorrow as that would be 4 games in as many nights. Speaking of stunned, I'm feeling that way with Schultz's callup. Yes, he has had a good run lately but I thought Engqvist would be back before him. Good for him though, he has earned it.
