sakiqc
same here, glad i wasn't able to watch it.. At the class' break i got the first 5 minutes of the 2nd period on the radio.. and finally the last 10 minnutes of the games. The sequences I heard, Raycroft seemed to be pretty solid. Habs are always great to make opposite goalies look good. When we'll score our 1st goal, we'll get the confidence factor back.. Game 2: 5-2 win , and the mission at Boston will be accomplished :ghg:
Ribeiro
This was humiliating. Julien got totally out-classed and out-prepared. If Boston keeps playing the way they did tonightp No. Julien simply shouldn't have messed with the lines right before playoff time. It's hard to prepare when a large amount of your time hasn't played a playoff game in their lives. They are way too soft up front, pushed around like flies. Quintal needs to sit and the way Souray played, he should to Did you even watch the game? Souray had plenty of shots.
Quebecois
Not the way i wanted the Habs to play, they just didn't compete hard enough tonight, especially in that horrible first. We gotta come out strong in Game 2 because if we head back to Montreal down 2-0, it could be lights out. :ghg:
puck7x
We cant play much worse then we did tonight, we hit rock bottom. That first period we played was the worst period of hockey we played all year. The entire game our offense generated nothing, and our defense fell apart time and time again, plus the speciality teams were garbage, at least the PP got a bunch of shots (but no goals) ... Maybe they can build on that and finally get the powerplay back on track... Anyways, its just one game. The Canadiens were aiming for a split of the first-2 games, and we can still do that... :ghg::ghg::ghg::ghg:
Prime Minister Koivu
The Habs had several quality chances in the second and third. I mean quality chances. Zed should have had 2 goals. Things are not lost. :ghg:
