2-0 Boston - Gonchar is playing at his best.

Canadiens have faced 20+ shots this period. We are being ######ED. I'm going to bed - this game is lost, I'm afraid.

If Raycroft shuts us out his confidence will get huge, and we'll get swept. It's as easy as that.

good night :(

I feel sick after watching that period. Bruins up 2-0, outshot us 23-9 ... No that is not a typo, Bruins got 23 shots in the first... Thats around their average for a game...

CJ needs to light a fire, even if we dont come back and win this game, we need to carry momentum (whatever we can get) into game-2 ...

WTF!?

Koivu was on a 2 on 1 breakaway and the other player just fell on him and kind of grabbed him.

The NHL HAS TO FIX THIS SHIT.

You can't be tackling someone on the breakaway.

EDIT: I saw the replay. The player tried to grab Koivu's skate.

BTW, who was the fool who just lost control of the puck on the PP and it rolled off side?

2nd over... 3-0 Bruins...

Lets just get out of this game healthy, have a good first (break the shutout) then come out strong for game-2... Its about the best we can hope for at this point barring a miracle.

See, most of us agreed that Julien shouldn't mess with the lines before the playoffs.

They worked well, why change them?

Obviously Julien doesn't get the concept of not fixing things that aren't broken.

The Habs scored with those lines, know they can't even buy a goal.

CJ will handle this by screwing with the lines again.

My opinions: :D

The Good:

Perreault with a few good breaks

Souray looks like he's getting his shot back

Begin playing great

The Bad:

Kovalev/Zednik should step up as our strong offensive players

Powerplay

Not enough big hits

When teams put in that kind of effort, they get put out in 4.....That first game was so important and the team blew it, it was an awful effort.

Hey, on the bright side its was only game one, and now IMO game two has to be a must win for the Habs.

Where the hell was the playoff INTENSITY in this game??? Boston killed em.....

I think we need a good fixture of Komisaurus for the next game! He could be a key ingredient in beating the Bruins.

Pathetic tonight, no other words to describe this embarassment. Bruins pounded us all night and we responded like the girls we are.

All us so-called experts who thought we had speed - Boston had the speed!!!! They were on top of us so fast, guys like Quintal looked lost. Habs speed, my ass!!!

This was humiliating. Julien got totally out-classed and out-prepared. If Boston keeps playing the way they did tonight, there is absolutely nothing Montreal can do to counter it. They are way too soft up front, pushed around like flies. Quintal needs to sit and the way Souray played, he should too. Kovalev is still playing in la la land.

Put in Komisarek, Langdon, and Dykhuis and move Rivet up front. Sit Quintal and any two pussies that played tonight, maybe Perrault and Dagenais.

I hope Good Friday is not an omen. Habs need to stay alive!!!!

I think I am glad the game wasn't on here in the states, I don't think I could have handled watching this game. I will never understand how a team can come out so flat in the first game of a playoff series. There's no excuse for this.
