RobRock
Even though it may be in poor taste, there's probably a few Hawks fans today who are not upset by this. Wirtz's unwillingness to broadcast home games for years was a huge thorn in the side of the Hawks faithful, as well as some decisions regarding certain management positions within the team. Depending on what happens with the team, maybe things will be run differently and the Hawks will move past the Wolves in the Chicago sports landscape. markierung
it is sad to say but you're right. This guy was killing the hawks, which is bad for the league. If the NHL is going to be successfull, the original 6 have to be successfull
JMMR
You guys are both very right he was not good for the game. Honestly who wants to be a Hawks fan when all you get is road games and thus losses.

jetsniper
I'd be excited to be a Hawks fan right now. A little harsh but we all know it's true. Their nemesis is gone and they've got Toews and Kane, whats not to be excited about? Unless their next owner is a douchebag too.
markierung
the next owner might be an idiot too. I think the team is in the family.
