JoeLassister
Is there anyone else who gets pissed off every time someone miss a long pass, BUT CLEARLY A PASS, and they call it as an icing ? Seriously, you take off the red line to allow this kind of spectacular plays, but they ###### this up every time this play miss by a inches. That sucks! I heard they were supposed to modify this rule, but I don't see how they did it...
JMMR
Well it is now as it always was at the discretion of the 2 linesmen if the believe it was an intentional pass they have the ability to waive off the icing.

But i feel like everytime they attend a pass and they miss, the linesmen call an icing. They NEVER takes in consideration the passing plays. And because you can't change line after an icing, i think the dmen will stop trying this soon so the red line elimination will as well become useless. no? Dirty Harry
Theyre supposed to wave it off if it an intended pass, but they NEVER do so calling the icing has become default. Really slows down the game, I dunno why the league is allowing this, so much for the new NHL.
