CBHabs_fan
Looks like Carbo finally figured out how to roll a couple of hot lines. They're in good shape Carbo...dont be afraid to play them every now and then, for christ sakes.
habs rule
are you kidding me? well we definitely outplayed them in that period

sbhatt
Looking good so far, aside from some scrambly play in the defensive zone from time to time. Hope Carbo doesn't change a thing for the third...keep feeding Kovy/Plex/Kost plenty of icetime.
lazy26
so.... what's our 1st line again?

Habstown
love it when the team is so confident !!! Now let's hope Carbo doesn't ask the guys to play "Defense mode" in the last period
tokyohabs
Is this seriously happening? We are winning and Rags had one shot in 2nd? That's one way Huet can cut down on soft goals! This won't be enough, we need at least one more and MUST ATTACK! Go Habs!
JMMR
Big kill to start the third period. Kovalev looks great and the team defense was incredible held the Rangers to 1 shot.
Cataclaw
Though Kovalev didn't get an assist on the 3rd goal, he set the whole in motion. Kovalev's been a beast tonight. Notice how the Rangers defensemen are always cautious when they deal with him, they seem to give him lots of space either because they're intimidated or they're so focused on him they stay back a bit to better watch him. Hamrlik playing very well, and credit where credit is due -- Bouillon has a good game tonight. Ryder even had a decent shot that period, albeit from the point. After being contained to just 1 shot that period, there's no where for the Rangers to go but up, so expect them to be firing from every angle in the third. Defense will need to be solid. Very happy with play after 40 minutes. Come on boys, finish it up. GO HABS GO :hlogo:
JLP
Bonehead penalty by Kostos means the Rags will come out hard to start the 3rd, we got to hold 'em off then go right back on the attack

CBHabs_fan
Boys, I dont want to jink anything, but I have to say.. I dont have the "We're definitely gonna blow this lead" feeling, like I usually do, right now. Somehow, I feel better playing with a 1 goal lead, as opposed to 2 or 3. We seem to keep the pedal down. Athlétique.Canadien
Keep going. Good defensive job tonight. Mistakes are happening but no real mistakes on the second effort - that's the difference so far. Shut them down Habs. :hlogo:
Athlétique.Canadien
Is the ref a Rangers fan? That ain't a goal
CBHabs_fan
No way that's a goal. Nice try though, Avery.

kenadian
Guy should be talking to the guys (basically it's a free time out...) and calm them down, and get back to skating and don't try to hold this lead...
Athlétique.Canadien
I'm annoyed at the ref for initially signaling his confirmation. WRONG! He pointed at the net Edited December 31, 2007 by Athlétique.Canadien
