thib46
Hmm how much cash do you think the Habs had to pay? Nothing, ZERO, NODA, why would you think Montreal had to pay anything? O'Byrne probably was allowed to enter into a first offender program which he completed.
JoeLassister
Nothing, ZERO, NODA, why would you think Montreal had to pay anything? O'Byrne probably was allowed to enter into a first offender program which he completed. you're right. The prosecutor of the State Pam Bondi revealed that the charges against the athlete of Victoria were abandoned after he read his excuses in court(yard) and agreed to make some community work in Canada." " He(it) completed a program of déjuridisation and read a letter of apology in aid of the victim, she indicated. He(it) provided us the evidence which he(it) continues to make some community work in Canada and which he was held away from the troubles during the last five months, we thus abandon the charges. habs rule
Can't say he was exonerated. He made a deal. he apologised for doing something. There was something to this whole deal but we will probably never know the whole story. It was more than likely a truly stupid error in judgment. Hopefully this is all behind him. I see that we changed the heading. Good move. Edited July 30, 2008 by habs rule
