JLP
Taking the train from Montreal to Ottawa to Toronto in mid-October 2008 and gazing out the windows, could the passengers expect to see: 1) Beautiful fall colors 2) Bleak bare gray forests 3) Drunk moose-hunters Thanks. JLP
wtf is this thread ??? dunno when the autumn leaves change where. so in the mtl-ott-tor area, are the colors gone by mid-oct, do you know?
Colin
Generally they change end of September, but we've had a particularly warm and wet summer so there's a stronger possibility of seeing some colour when you come through. I'm not sure when moose season is, nor if there are any places near the tracks where you'd be allowed to shoot, however you should be able to see plenty of lightly inebriated Sens fans and twice again as many Leaf fans who are stumbling drunk. jetsniper
What about just drunk moose? You can see that if you come to Calgary. Had one smash through our gate and get trapped in our backyard 5 years ago.

MAK
May I suggest that while being in montreal to take a trip to the Laurentians or the eastern townships. sights are spectacular at this time of the year.
