Habs13
I started a thread a few moments ago about players I was glad to see theback of, and now, those that I wasn't happy about seing leave. I'll leave out players who retired because that's normally a wise choice. Dainius Zuburus Oleg Petrov Chris Nilan John Kordic Lyle Odelein Sergio Momesso Darren Langdon Arron Asham Shayne Corson Kirk Muller Patrick Roy Mike Keane Guy Carboneau Darcy Tucker (the biggest pest in pro sports!) Mark Recchi Brian Savage (At least he scored during the dark ages) Igor Ulanov Eric Desjardins Pierre Turgeon Sean Hill I would also like to say that I'm very happy to have a real GM for once. So, again.. lets talk Habs & hockey!! [Edited on 2004-12-29 by puck7x]

puck7x
- Patrick Roy - Mark Recchi - Pierre Turgeon - Chris Chelios (a few years before I became a fan though) - Guy Carbonneau - Kirk Muller (that hurt, although I loved that we got Turgeon for him) If I think of more I'll edit them into my post
sakiqc
Eric Desjardins (one of the last few proud Habs) and Pierre Turgeon (the last torch holder)
ch_nl
Patrcik Roy When I first heard that the Habs traded him I couldn't understand why. The Internet wasn't in every mans home and the only NHL coverage I had was what TV and the Swedish NHL Magazine wrote... I just couldn't believe it. Worst trade ever. Arron Asham. I liked him. In my dreams he was the perfect third liner. But when he left for Czerkawski I tought that it was a steal. But I'll admit it. It was a misstake even if I still don't know why Czerkawski had a great pre-season and a terrible season. Mystery. Eric Desjardins, John LeClair and Mark Recchi. Montreal should never ever made a trade with the Flyers again. Even if they offer Simon Gangne for for a 5th round pick. Because if Habs would make that deal happen, that 5th pick round would become the next Gretzky and Gange would become the next Czerkawski. But the true heartbreaker was when Brunet left. I still get a tear in my eyes when I hear of Shaun Van Allen. I don't know why, but for me Brunet was the Habs personified... Chris Cheloios. I was to young to remember this, but when I found out that one of my favourite players once had been a habs, I couldn't help myself from saying a coupple of bad words. Fanpuck33_
If I could put together a team of current/former Habs: Zednik-Koivu-Kovalev Recchi-Damphousse-LeClair Tucker-Ribeiro-Ryder Thornton-Begin-Stevenson Schneider-Desjardins Souray-Brisebois Markov-Weinrich Theodore Thibault
Habby1197
Stephan Lebeau... really liked him, and for Robert Dirk Guy Carbonneau, that one hurt. Patrick Roy.... Thanks Red Wings. Sean Hill... Gave up on too early. Chris Chelios...Savard wasn't worth it. Donald Brashear... yeah he's an ass, but... Mark Recchi... 100% every night for Zubrus, not fun. Scott Thornton, he'd be nice to have.... Juha Lind? Pierre Turgeon... 127 points in 104 games Craig Conroy.... He'd be nice to have now too. Mathieu Garon, I hope Bonk was worth it. Darcy Tucker.... Im sorry, for I have sinned. Val Bure.... fun to watch, and for Hoglund? Claude Lemieux... Pepe was a winner.

Fanpuck33_
I already gave some indication of who I would like back, but the following is the list of guys who I liked but were traded. I wouldn't want them all back of course, but I liked: -Thibault/Roy (not trading Roy would have meant no Thibault, and I hated the Hacket dea too) -Muller -Keane -Carboneau -Recchi -Desjardins -Schneider -Damphousse -Recchi -Tucker -Cullimore -Bure/Hoglund (either would have done, preferably Bure) -Landry (only because he did awesome for me in NHL 2003 when I had lots of injuries.) Garon has to show that he can play a full season on a high level and we already have a great goalie with Théo), Hackett and add players like Recchi, Keane, Turgeon, Damphousse, Bure and Desjardins. :/)
