montreal
Michael Lambert was sent to the ECHL today to join his pal Cory Urquhart in Long Beach, a team that is currently one point away from first overall in the league. Should be good for him to see more ice time, and might help Cory a bit since he was the setup guy for Lambert while with the Rocket. http://www.canoe.ca/Bulldogs/News/2.../22/939023.html

The habs sure do like drafting from the Rocket.
dlbalr
I'm right again! 3 for 3 on calling who gets demoted when the Bulldogs signed NHL'ers (Ward, Focht, Begin) Following the first (and official) cancellation of the 04-05 NHL campaign, C Steve Begin decided it was time to lace up the skates somewhere. That somewhere is in Hamilton, where he will add some toughness to the lineup. Begin is no stranger to the AHL, having won a Calder Cup MVP before, and the Bulldogs will look to his experience to aid their cause as they try to rally and make the playoffs. No player has been sent down yet as Begin has not been activated to the roster. Expect Michael Lambert to be the odd man out. http://www.habsworld.net/article.php?id=76...5739dccfa7d0997

I doubt they sign Lapierre and Bonneau, and I think they could easily cut loose Lambert or Urquhart. I'm not sure what sort of contracts they signed. I don't know what will happen with Bonneau, he doesn't look ready for the AHL next year, but that's not my call. Guess we'll see what happens with him. Lapierre will be signed he's having a good season on a bad team. Lambert and Urquhart signed 3 year deals and won't be let out of their contracts.
