Scoreless late in the 2nd in this one. Aebischer is having a strong game for the IceCaps while Lawson has rebounded from that awful start in Toronto to shut the door so far.

Might have spoke too soon on that one. 3 goals just past the 2:30 mark of the 3rd is actually worse than the 3-goal stretch he allowed last game. 3-0 St. John's halfway through the 3rd.

Maybe this team has turned the corner and we can expect a solid second half. As for Engqvist I thought his trip to Montreal was a little premature and done in desperation.

Engqvist is 24 years old and had a full season of North American hockey. If he isn't ready now, he better be ready very soon or he'll be just another Ben Maxwell.
