dlbalr
With a loss tonight, the Bulldogs (31-34-1-6) will be eliminated from playoff contention (mathematically, that is; realistically they've been dead for a month). Standing in their way is the St. John's IceCaps (43-22-2-4). Projected Hamilton Lines: Andrighetto - Dumont - Blunden Sorkin - Macenauer - Holland Tarnasky - St. Pierre - Thomas Crisp - Vail - Leblanc Drewiske - Pateryn Chouinard - Schiestel McIver - Ellis Mayer Projected St. John's Lines:(based on +/- data from previous game) Jaffray - Albert - Gordon Lipon - Lowry - Samson MacKinnon - Cormier - Riley Lunden - Beck Morrissey - Kichton O'Neill - Melchiori Hill - Fredheim Lampl Beskorowany Puck drop is at 6:00 PM, AM900 will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen. Machine of Loving Grace
Crisp - Vail - Leblanc is the fourth line. Okay sure. I like it. Whatever.
DON
Crisp - Vail - Leblanc is the fourth line. Okay sure. I like it. Whatever. Would love to see the 'legit' prospects get more icetime, and Tarnasty/Bkunden/MM etc get short shifted, who give a rats ass if win last couple games? Give the kids more ice to show what they got. DON
9 seconds into 3rd and 1-0 for IceCaps. Pretty dull game, fairly even shots, no rough stuff, Crisp had 1 big hit in 1st (on his 20th b'day). Good goaltending. Then Morgan Ellis fumbles puck in own end, turn over and big blast which Dubbie hadn't a chance on. 2-0; 12:10 left in 3rd Holland gets smoked and boarding penalty. Sorkin playing PP time.
DON
Dogs PP started at 13.5% and now went 0-5 today, potent it is not. IceCaps score again 3-0; 4:00 left. Well well.......the birthday boy-Crisp scores his 1st pro goal. 3-1 loss. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1012165
dlbalr
That first line was getting a ton of ice time, so too is the top D-pairing. Crisp-Vail-Leblanc hardly touched the ice it seemed. Sorkin also had a very quiet game, his linemates were much more involved.
dlbalr
These two play again tonight. If Hamilton loses, they're mathematically out, meaning that we don't have to hear on the broadcast how they're still alive when we all know they were toast a while ago. DON
Play the crap out of the kids!
DON
Pateryn gets 15th and Dumont 2a but dogs trail 2-3 in 3rd. Dumont makes nice pass for his 3rd assist, to Blunden for his 18th goal and ties it up mid 3rd.
