dlbalr
They haven't had much success against them so far this season but the IceCaps (25-23-8-3) will once again try to make up some ground in the standings as they host the worst team in the Western Conference, the Binghamton Senators (22-31-3-1) for a pair of games on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Baby Sens look a lot different than they did earlier this season thanks to the Phaneuf-to-Ottawa deal plus a seven player AHL swap with Buffalo in advance of the trade deadline and another swap of AHL'ers with Minnesota at the deadline. (Based on previous +/- data.) Keranen - Varone - Akeson Flanagan - Rupert - Bailey Robinson - McCormick - Dziurzynski Hobbs - Ewanyk - Stortini Claesson - Carlisle Fraser - Harpur Lepine - Leduc O'Connor McNally - Scherbak - Holloway Hudon - Dumont - Friberg Bozon - MacMillan - Gregoire Scott - Yogan - Bakker Ellis - Dietz Hanley - Johnston Johnston - Lernout Pasquale Puck drop is at 6:00 PM EST for both games, AM 930 has the call. DON
How may 'serious' prospects do the Sens actually have in that lineup?
Guest Stogey24
Stortini is up there for sure
dlbalr
How may 'serious' prospects do the Sens actually have in that lineup? Not many and most of the ones that are are fourth line type of players. Stortini is up there for sure He's their captain believe it or not. Well the guy has played for basically every AHL team. I guess that counts for something
dlbalr
One lineup change up front, Bakker is in for Ranger. Pasquale gets the nod between the pipes. 2-0 good guys early on, Friberg and Bakker with the goals. John Scott picks up his first assist with St. John's on the Bakker tally. DON
Hudon tops his goal total of last year with his 20th. He, Ellis and Gregoire had lots of shots and was interesting to see Lernout 'flying' down the wing on end to end rush, just too bad he couldn't bury it. dlbalr
Only 1 lineup change for tonight and that's between the pipes as Fucale's back in goal.
dlbalr
I watched the whole game...was that ever a mistake. St. John's showed little effort or interest for most of the night and lost 4-1. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1015559
DON
NO positives? (Didier was +1 and Lernout got an assist seem like it, on paper anyways)
