dlbalr
The IceCaps will begin their second and final season as Montreal's affiliate tonight as they travel to Hartford to kick off a 3-in-3 road trip (thanks, schedule makers...). Stefan Matteau will not be available as he is serving the first game of a two game suspension he incurred while on a conditioning stint with New Jersey last year. Hudon - McCarron - Scherbak Friberg - de la Rose - Farnham Eisenschmid - Audette - Terry Broll - MacMillan - Gregoire Samuelsson - Barberio Racine - Lernout Hanley - Johnston Fucale (Line combos are straight up guesses) Tambellini - Hrivik - Jensen Stromwall - Nieves - Brown Kovacs - McRae - Joly Carey - Fogarty - Glass Bodie - Paliotta Graves - Andersson Gilmour - Hughes Hellberg Puck drop is at 7:15 PM EST, AM 930 has the call. dlbalr
The lineup is now in and Chris Terry, who could very well be their leading scorer this year is on the 3rd line. How things never change... Barberio is playing his off-side on the top defence pairing.
dlbalr
In the pregame interview, Lefebvre made a point of noting that Scherbak will need to improve on his effort level this season and that his development curve is probably slower than other players. Connor Crisp apparently had a good training camp...but is still a healthy scratch tonight so that Broll can play.
dlbalr
Mere minutes into the game, the fourth line had a complete defensive breakdown (mostly Broll screwing up) and the Wolf Pack capitalize to make it 1-0. Seconds after the faceoff, Terry gets hurt and is being helped off the ice. Not exactly the start they were hoping for.
dlbalr
If you had Hudon in the pool for the first IceCap to score this season, you'd be the only one since we didn't do a pool. He's the one who gets it though. And while the goal was being announced, Hartford scores to re-take the league.
dlbalr
Terry's back on the ice...and scores on the PP to tie it up. Eisenschmid drew the penalty on apparently what could have easily been a penalty shot. Barberio and Hudon with the assists.

dlbalr
It went downhill after the 1st, 6-3 Hartford is the final. Friberg had the other goal. They'll be in Albany tomorrow night. http://theahl.com/game-summary?game_id=1015909
