East: Heatley - Lecavalier - St Louis Gagné - Thornton - Kovalev Ovechkin - Crosby - Alfredsson Vanek - Spezza - Palffy Gonchar - Leetch Bouwmeester - Souray Phillips - Pitkanen Brodeur Theodore Luongo Alternates: Carter, Havlat, Richards, Chara, Johnsson, Forsberg, Jagr, Niinimaa. West: Naslund - Datsyuk - Iginla Nash - Fedorov - Hejduk Zetterberg - Modano - Bertuzzi Frolov - Legwand - Gaborik Niedermayer - Blake Aucoin - Ohlund Zidlicky - Phaneuf Khabibulin Turco Kiprusoff Alternates: Chelios, Lidstrom, Schneider, Aebischer, Ozolinch, Hamrlik, Foote, Demitra. Those are my picks. I know everyone will disaree. It's almost impossible for 2 people to agree on a team chosen from a bunch of talnted players. Yopu may notice I gave a lot of young players a chance. For example, the bottom line of the West and other players like Phaneuf, Zidlicky and Carter. Those are the risky bets and we'll see if they come true. I know it's early but if you wait til the season starts we already have an idea. Let's try random guesses. Thanks. BTH Posted October 3, 2005 Author Share Posted October 3, 2005 Well, Theodore is definitely in (theoretically) and Kovalev is a good bet too. Souray made it last year but anything's possible. The only one of those that missed the last all star game (I think he missed it) is Kovalev hwo was playing for the Rangers t the time. Sundin is way overrated. At 32 he got 75 points. Kovalev is 32 and we can expect a slightly better season. At 34, like he is now, we can expect maybe 60 points. Especially since he's on a worse team that will miss the playoffs. I forgot about the Olympics. New question: Theoretically, what would be your picks. ...and yes, Jan Bulis would fit beautifully with the team!
