I hate Crosby! He's unsportsmanlike and has abad attitude IMO from what I've seen of him in interviews and him on the ice. Also, it's big news that his dad, Troy, has a bigger ego than Eric Lindros, or me for that matter and is a huge bastard. He yelled at the Penguins organization for not playing Crosby on a 5-on-3 situation. He also has sent multiple hate letters to Jack Todd because he said Crosby isn't a cross between Gretzky and Lemieux. What ever, I'm ranting. I just don't like Crosby and I love the way Ovechkin plays. Quote

What a beautiful goal! Hehe.. it's hard to explain because he made up the move..lol.. he went to the right but he neevr moved the puck. Biron followed Jagr's body and left the other side of the net open. Jagr shot instead of deking. I don't know if you can picture it but it was very nice. Quote

I just don't like Crosby and I love the way Ovechkin plays. Possibly true...but wait and see how many games it takes Crosby before he scores 15 goals next year. Conversely one could say Ovechkin doesn't have the tutelage (and post-goal ass tapping) from a great like Lemieux either. [Edited on 2005/11/23 by mineral] Quote

shortcat1 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 I just heard an interesting comment by dagenais in the post-game interview on ckac... he said that, before he started to skate towards the thrashers goalie that he prayed to be able to score for his team and the fans. now, i hope that this won't give rise to sneers and negative comments... :nono: i truly believe that this may be a strong indication as to why he's taking his situation with calm - you'd have to hear him in the various interviews on the french channels over the months to hear that he's at peace waiting for his time to work out. :king: i'm glad for him. most of us would have a very difficult time keeping a quiet heart during such stress. :king: :hlogo::ghg::hlogo: Quote
sakiqc Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Yeah, nice win! Great game by Theodore! I want to see the replay of the last save againts Hossa! Fun to see Dagenais who only played 2 min in the game, and go in the shutoot and score that goal.. nice. Not a bad job. Only has to be intense for 2 min, then go in shootouts. Wonder if he'll take a shower . Anyways, nice win!! Great to be winning again! Quote

When you haven't been playing well lately, it's tough to get anything done, let alone when the outcome of the game is resting on the blade of your stick. Kudos to him for coping with the pressure. Please ... tommy, what do you do 'for a living'? are you a student? are you 'unemployed'? do you work midnight shifts? i don't understand it. it must be ridiculously late for you and you're still up. i can't imagine you having to go to a job the next day. doing this on a regular basis, if you're working a day job, must take a heavy toll on you. again... what do you do 'for a living'?
