jayk99
Hi everyone i am from Ottawa(please don't hold that against me) and looking to bring my 11yr old son to a Habs game soon. I am hoping someone could share with me the best time before and after morning skate on gameday,to catch a glimpse and quick interaction with Canadiens players and maybe even what hotel you think visiting teams stay at in Montreal and any other details you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Looking at the Flyers game on March 23rd. Thankyou
alfredoh2009
Hello fellow Ottawan! I am not sure I remember correctly, but sometimes they bus in/out of Ottawa. Or take the train in/out with buses to Kanata from the Via rail station. I know they have skated at the university of Ottawa before, but I do not know if they have done that recently. I think most teams stay in a hotel in Kanata. I've seen some NHL players around the Kanata Centrum shopping centers or the Baton Rouge restaurant near the CTC Good luck! hockeyrealist
Regarding hotel: Sofitel. Have stayed there in the past when Flyers weee in town and they were staying there. This was pre Covid tho but teams tend to be chain loyal. https://all.accor.com/hotel/3646/index.en.shtml?utm_campaign=seo+maps&utm_medium=seo+maps&utm_source=google+Maps
JoeLassister
As for the Habs, young players awaiting for the management to tell them to get their own place, they used to stay at the Renaissance hotel.
