Even tough he's a bit overpaid at 5 millions, I think it's betterfor the Sabres this way rather than letting him go for nothing.

Well, I too feel a trade is brewing. However, with the recent logo issue, buffalo fans are rallying like never before. More people are talking about the sabres this off season than in the past. I'd bet there would be hell to pay if the sabres traded away their heart and got shot in the foot in return!

I originally posted UFA, but then someone said RFA so I changed it...then I didn't bother changing it again.

If the Sabres back away from Dumont's offer then he will become a UFA.

Briere on the other hand might be worth every penny he will get paid. Leadership and scoring, can't go wrong. Don't rule out him being shopped around though.
