Jersey Question............

Just watching the NHL network, their showing Game 4 of the final. The Flyers have their names on the back of their jerseys and Montreal doesn't. What year did Montreal start putting the names on the jerseys?

I'm going to start a petition as well, As I heard the LA Kings farm team is moving to Sudbury but not going with the old Green jerseys! :D

Totally off-topic (but it's my thread....) I picked up an auto'd Wolves hockey stick today from the 88-89 season... for nothing

Looks like all the team is there; but some are a little worn; since it looks like they were all done with a really fine marker, almost looks like pencil.

Some of my collection;

And an Ehelechner (rookie) which was too small for him (not a goalie cut)

And a replica Staal Team Canada (Auto'd)

Very nice man. It's quite a shame the way we lost game 4 against the Petes. I can tell you Mils did not make a dirty check. I am a little worried for this season though. Without Staal and Pouliot, we are really going to have to lean on Nick F, but who knows, maybe Jaret can pull a Traveres :P By the way, is Beech starting again? :puke:

I've heard Beech will be back, and that Swick will be the backup (according to Eklund :D )

We're going to be hard up to score (again) this year, and our returning OA's aren't (IMO) the best players we have. I'm hoping we do a deal before the deadline; and get a proven goal scorer.

Now back to my question, what year did the Habs start putting their names on their jerseys? Anyone, Bueller, Bueller?

Kings moving their farm team to Sudbury? NHL teams aren't allowed to have their own junior affiliates, and I can't see the AHL moving into an OHL market. Not unless the Wolves leave town, and so far the only team movement in the OHL involves the Ice Dogs moving to North Bay and the St. Michael's Majors moving into Mississauga.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH................. :rolleyes:

And the Ice Dogs won't be going to North Bay. My guess is NY since the OHL would then be able to draft players from the state; and locking out the Q

If I'm reading that correctly, and I'm pretty sure that I am, that's a link for a fantasy league, not the actual American Hockey League.

And I did hear that Buffalo is a possible home to the Ice Dogs if they move.

This is amazing! :o

The thread starts off as a question about when the Canadiens put names on their jerseys and, two posts later, it takes a totally wild veering into a completely different territory. :blink:

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............ :wacko::wacko::wacko:
