JMMR
Kovalev left the ice early today during practice after talking to the trainers. It is believed that he may have a groin injury. Can anyone else confirm this? However it may be a minor problem as this is just traning camp! Edited September 18, 2006 by JMMR
InsaneHABSfan
Please not a groin! McCabe told the Toronto press that it never heals and you have to deal with it.

sakiqc
Groin injuries are frequent at this time of the year. Not a big deal.

habs_in_the_blood
But why??? what the difference with the previous years? like last season ( I called it the "Groin" season) Not this one too? wtf!!! i think its cause the game is more fast paced...and the slower ones need to step it up to join the quicker ones...hence the groin
sakiqc
As far as I can remember (15+ years of following hockey), groin injuries are really common (especially in training camps, especially to veterans) and -in most cases- not serious. When they are not healed or when players are rushed back into the lineup (example: Jagr) the inconfort remains and can get worse. Those injuries are most of the time the result of a lack of activities, bad warmup/stretches. Nothing to panic! Anyways it's only speculation at this time concerning AK27
