Maybe he'll show Audette a little ex-habs love.

Yeah its up there with the time he gave Travis Green a concussion , that was pretty sweet.

Ohh game update : Habs had a PP , and for once the 2nd unit was more successful then the 1st one , we didnt score though.

0-0

1-0 Habs after 1 period of play...

Markov scored on a shot from the point after some hard work by the 4th line , was an unassisted goal. 4th line had a hell of a period for the habs , were dangerous every shift (physically , offensively) and even drew a penalty.

Shots: 15-7 habs

Yeah , was a great play. He'd be a good soccer player.

Then as he's going off ice he nails a Panther with a shoulder. Begin rules!

Okay wtf? Its 2-1 Panthers now , 2 goals in 7 seconds , both by Kozlov.

And its a load of crap! First goal should not have happened , the ref blew the whistle before the puck crossed the line , the play was dead. What the hell?

Yeah, those were both gifts for Kozlov.

And now the game has stopped because Zednik broke the glass on a dump-in. They're just getting the glass installed now, almost 10 minutes later.

If that's the game winning goal, I'm gonna beat up the first Panthers fan I see. That might take a long time...

Souray left the game. I can't figure out what happened.

Whatever it is, I don't like it one bit.

DAMN DAMN DAMN!

Habs lose game 2-1 ... more importanly lose Souray to a knee? injury....

Not a good night at all.

This game was bullshit though. I hate the way it played out , I wont say we deserved to win , but we did deserve better. Panthers first goal should not have been allowed , and if it wasnt allowed then the 2nd would of never had happened... Plus the refs did a horrible job tonight.

Argh... I'm pissed.

On RDS they said Sheldon could be gone 4-6 weeks, hurt his ACL is the word.

:wall:

Wow this loss REALLY hurts now.

On such a stupid play too, but the way he went down you knew it was serious. He's no Dagenais, when Sheldon goes down it's serious.

You think Gainey will get moving on Gauthier that much faster?

We also have Komi in the meantime, thank god for depth.

We've got Hainsey (who may still be another year away) and Dykhuis. Say what you will about Karl, he's a good depth guy and a good man to have as a reserve defenceman.

Gainey was already looking to add size & toughness to the blueline before Souray was injured... because he knew games were going to be a war down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Losing Souray and replacing him with Dykhuis won't cut it... although it could happen for a game or two.

Btw I don't see any official news about Souray on RDS, I hope this story is legit... well actually let's hope it isn't ;)
