ArtoVuoti
I was doubtful at the end of the 1st period, I thought I'd better sleep. I made the right choice
lazy26
I should leave and come back mroe often... What an effort by our boys in the 2nd. Let's see the same in the 3rd!
shortcat1
:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: NEVER SAY THAT! You want to jinx us? counterjinx: CROSBY CAN SCORE 4 GOALS IN THE 3RD!!!! you will notice that i didn't say with firmness that the game IS in the bag... i qualified the comment with 'pretty well', 'not quite', 'darn close'. i'd NEVER take a victory for granted till the final whistle is blown. it's like the cop show addage... "when is a crime scene secure?" "on the drive back to headquarters." i've always told my kids that they should keep in mind that as long as there's time left, there's always time for something to happen... that something could be very unpleasant... OneSharpMarble
Damn Streit is a good forward! I dont know how good a defenseman he is but he is definitly deserving that spot. Samsonov is looking good, Kovalev is a machine as is Koivu and it looks like Ryder is back to his lethal ways. I didn't get to watch the 1st period but that second was beautiful. Heh you don't have to tell me, look ay my post back on like page 5. Huet is this franchise, he gives us the chance to win every night. No other goalie in the league would survive with the way this team plays.

huzer
Kovalev's typical backhand move. Nice stop by Fleury.
KoZed
WOW, what a sequence... first Plex and Max get a nice attack and almost scores... Pitts hit the post after that, then Kovy robbed on the breakway leaving the penalty bench.
shortcat1
Kovalev's typical backhand move. Nice stop by Fleury. regardless.. the nice thing to see here is that the canadiens aren't 'sitting' on this lead. they seem to be continuing to push GO :hlogo: GO! zumpano21
I think my favourite part of that Fleury stop on Kovy was the "Mehhh" shrug by Kovy when he got back to the bench. That guy might be getting a little too mellow.

That guy might be getting a little too mellow. that's not unusual for this guy, it seems. i hope it's true, the adage that kovalev is player who wakes up and steps up his game to super heights in the playoffs... zumpano21
Can Lapierre scrap? Cuz, I get the sense one might be coming along soon.
huzer
Ruutu is a wuss. What a piece of crap.
Athlétique.Canadien
This is so sweet. Higgins is right back where he left off. :hlogo:
zumpano21
Everyone hates to play against Ruutu (read: Finnish Dale Hunter), but you absolutely LOVE to have them on your team. It's an artform to play like that. It has its purpose.
huzer
Ruutu tossed...he just won't stop yapping. Nice to see Rivet standing up for guys there. Pens end up with a PP out of it, though.

KoZed
Ruutu is a little bitch Man, I'm starting to love this Habs edition more and more. Even Sammy and Plex were trash-talking and showing some spunk on that sequence.
zumpano21
CBC announcer is terrible. He's getting a lot of names wrong. Might as well let Cassie take over.
shortcat1
isn't the internet wonderful? i can watch the canadiens on tv & listen to the bulldogs on web radio the dogs are winning 2 - 1 on scores by d'agostini & locke (no points for Kostitsyn & grabovski so far) GO :hlogo: GO! zumpano21
I've noticed Lats tends to stop skating when he tries to get around defenders. For someone who's not naturally fast, he needs to keep those legs moving.
KoZed
Can Lapierre scrap? Cuz, I get the sense one might be coming along soon. He can, but its rare. He always had that leader/checker/PK role, kinda like Brind'Amour, so he never could scrap much,
