Downey was right in his comments. He said that the team and the entire league misses emotion, body wise. He is especially talking for all the other enforcers around the league. A lot of hockey fan including me misses heavyweight fights, third man in a fight and major brawl.

That being said it is our goalies both Aebi and Huet that deserves the most credit. Everybody here seem so condifent that Markov will be back. Does he seem over happy to play in MTL did he ever said that he would never play elsewhere. Is he fed up with the stay at home style that the Habs D play. No one knows the guy is a mystery.

Can we keep all of them sure but what is the plan B if they don't want to come back....especially Markov and Souray. Rivet wants to stay but he is slowering and that isn not good for long term plan. One way to cut the shot against would be for us to pressure the other team defense. Many times we see a good puck control in the opponent zone but no habs defensemen coming throught offering a option to the forwards or at least distract their defense. The defense are playing so deep that sometimes a back pass at the blue line is the end of the play because the d is already backing up.

Carolina shooters have far more accuracy than the last teams we have played against. The fact that there was lots of scoring chances for Florida should wake up the guys not to create turnovers. If Habs still allows 40 shot or more we are screwed even if Huet stand up on his head. It seems in the last games that they rely too much on him.

Good to hear that nobody want revenge in Williams this time around. The main concern right now should be protecting Huet crease. And hoping that referees will call obstruction wich is the main reason why thre is no more goal scored in the NHL in the two last weeks.

What i really like about him is when he use his feets to create oppurtunities. Amazing foot skills. He well deserve a shot as many says on the two first line. I am getting sick of Samsonov losing the puck.

Agreed with Canajun. Milroy is a kind of player we are missing and need along with Lapierre. And they are breaking throught, it won't be long before they get a chance over Murray and Downey.

Even we he hit the post, RDS Houde is shouting he SCORES. Temper, even Downey would look good on Koivu line.

Are we better of keeping Kots hot on the farm if we want to get a good player for a long playoff run? Remember we got Kovalev for Josef Balej.

The white and blue heritage jersey get me so confuse at time that it gets me away from the game. Althought when you look at it for real it is pretty beautiful but on TV you can't see the numbers clearly first and it create an illusion that the players have a bigger body with short arms. And if you are listening to RDS you can't even trust Houde because he get mixed with every jerseys. One thing positive is that we have a winning record with this jersey but i am geting more a habs feeling with the red jersey at home.

RDS are saying that Alex Auld will be in net for the Panthers Never saw him against Montreal. Heard his last win was against Belfour in a Hotel bar.

I know there is a thread in the habs talks below but Nagy is apparently on the block. 3 million for one year his contract. We do not need that player except if traded for Samsonov one on one. What we reaaly need from Phoenix is Reinprecht or Keith Yandle. Yandle was amazing with Moncton last year in Junior. Best d-offensive prospect i've seen in years. So Aebisher for Yandle and Cujo.

The fact that Latendresse is still on the first line is the main reason for Ryder goal shortage. That line actualy misses Higgins speed. Why not give the chance to fill the Higgins void with Samsonov or Kovy. Latendresse is simply not ready for 5-5 first line duties. I think that a line of Koivu-Ryder Samsonov could benefit Ryder creating movement in the zone and dumping garbage goals.

Not over confident just expecting a win. Should i say i command a win.

We can't afford to lose two in a row, simply put. Object in the mirror are closer than they appear, Tampa, Ottawa, Isles, Carolina, New Jersey are all at two game reach of us. And us going in the bottom of the 8 spots. Hope for a New-Jersey loss tonight.

Kovalev is kinda in a hot streak right now. 5 Points in last three games. I stick with the idea of playing the best players together. Match him with Koivu 1st line and PP and you'll see a ten game streak 18 points.

Two main reason, first Higgins was on pace to an incredible season numbers before getting hurt. That completely stopped Ryder to produce because he had to work twice to get half the oppurtunities to score. We really need more punch on the first line, bring Kovalev back there. Secondly stop considering the second line as the second but the third, with Kovalev out on the first line Second line with the ice time is Bonk-Johnson and Samsonov. Third line: Players with less potential to make the difference but could always surprise. Plekanek, Perezhogin and Latendresse Fourth line : Lapierre and Bégin

No chemistry is there and he is part of it. But as others said let him go at the end of the season, he is indded getting slow but if he focus to stay well positionned there is no problem keeping him until season end tyhat means june 12.

The best thing i saw was Kovalev smile after the winning goal. I real smile...i saw teeth...gotta prove that with a photo.
