I agree, I know none of us are in the room, but Prust and Weise seem like real good guys in that room. Again, I'm not there, but does anyone feel like Eller's poor production and downtrodden psyche might be one of the few guys who don't help the room dynamic?

Eller would similarly give them depth down the middle that they don't have. Maybe I'm just getting my hopes up here. I'm with you on adding Tinordi first though. Maybe add tinordi a second AND another prospect An upgrade on a young injured defence seems necessary

I have to say I'm similarly disappointed that they gave up on him so quickly. I thought he had a good future. That being said, this time last year, we didn't even have sekac, soooo... Let's just think of this as "Anaheim" trade smith-Pelley to Montreal for nothing". I call that a win! Let's not forget that sekac was in his 4th year of pro hockey. He said himself he didn't consider himself a rookie. Smith-Pelley seems like a playoff preparation to me. I hope he is a good top 9.

One things I'll give subban is that he steps it up in the playoffs without question. I'm not sure about Pacioretty yet (in the playoffs). That being said, right now I'd make patches the C.

Not sure the announcers name, but he just hit the nail on the head. Montreal's powerplay problem is because they are absolute garbage at breaking into the zone. Once they set up they're fine.

He said himself that he wants to be involved with hockey in some capacity after his pre-game tribute. He also said he will always be a Hab at heart. Those to things make it seem really possible he could be with the team somehow. A scout in Finland would make a lot of sense.
