  1. Does Petry feel comfortable there? He hasn't played there long enough to really know one way or the other. By the time he plays there and gets comfortable, Trouba probably will have been dealt by then. I don't see Winnipeg dragging this out to the December 1 deadline and it's going to take way more than a couple of preseason games to know if Petry is comfortable - and more importantly, competent - on that side.

  4. Have to say that I thought Doughty was pretty terrible last night...he was just floundering at both ends of the ice.

  5. The guy only got 54 points last year... terrible offensively. Oh wait.. thats more or less a top 30 centre in the league... yup he surely cant be a second liner.

  7. Exactly. There's a way to show you're on board and excited to be on the team without to resorting to the worst kind of dirty play and childish bragadocio. That was something out of a Junior B game.

  8. Being a reckless player running a young kid from behind and add in the clown fight act, I think most can do without that garbage and I just hope it isn't a sign of things to come with Shaw.

  9. Coach will have a heart to heart with him and get him back on track, don't worry.

  10. Absolutely, Condon still doesn't know where the net is behind him if there is any sideways puck movement, terrible goalie. I watched the game and my thoughts were, Condon sucks, Lehkonen(spell check) is pretty good, Andrighetto looks great this pre season, Redmond is smart, fast and quite physical, McCarron is working extremely hard, and Sergachev is outstanding, Ferraro said "Mtl has a very special player there". Hudon, meh. Desharnais was by far the worst looking player out there, on his ass every shift, looked pretty out of shape to me. Last but not least, I'm with Stogey, I can't take another year of Plekanec shooting the puck from anywhere, every time he makes the offensive zone, cut, keep, keep, cut and shoot, he has my offensive vision(none), no help to Lehkonen and Andrighetto, who looked like they could put up points in the NHL... Pleks is an awesome defensive player, but such an individual when it comes to offense, he probably would be the best 3rd line C in the league, but he won't play there for coach Mike...
