And it was a beauty, around the 8:15 mark. -

Mailloux and Xhekaj played together a fair bit together in Laval I believe and Mailloux will want to make a good impression. I am not as scared as some on the board. We will find out soon. -

I am still a big believer that Wifi is almost the perfect 3rd pairing defensemen who can play up on occasion. He has a lot of the qualities you want in a player; good skater, great size and toughness, booming shot and the 1st guy to stick up for teammates. He is still working on stuff from the neck up, needs to pick and choose his spots on when to be tough. The growth of a young defensemen is not a linear path. No chance I am giving up on him, too many good tools, just needs to work on the toolkit. -

I think most would agree (Brad Treliving may not). I am probably a bigger believer in Arber's ability than most here. -

I would be more concerned if guys like Suzuki and Caulfield were getting run at. Guhle plays a physical game so he has to expect opponents to hit him when they get the chance. -

I know you are being sarcastic (heaven forbid I am ever sarcastic LOL) but the deterrent effect is something that's almost impossible to measure. If the Habs go through a game with no cheap shots against them does that mean it was because of Arber? Impossible to say. He has to play better but he knows and acknowledges that. I still think he is an important part of the team. tsn.ca/nhl/video/ive-been-in-my-own-head-xhekaj-acknowledges-issues-with-his-own-~3012569 -
I agree, I think they have little choice but to pay up.

Not sure what Rohrer has done to be rated ahead of Heinemann, ratings must have been done a few months ago. -

I always find these redrafts interesting. Obviously we knew Hutson would have a big move up from 62 but that is also a huge move for Engstrom, 4 in the top 35 for a redraft is not a bad look. I assume Mesar dropped quite a bit? -
Not a good hit and kudos to Knoblauch for benching him.

Most likely not but I haven't given up on the season yet. I also think the Canucks over achieved last year and they might struggle to make the playoffs.

I would much rather see the Habs win their 25th cup.

Now 4-0. All we need is for Calgary to play approx. .500 for the rest of the year and they will end up where they need to be. If we could get a top 15 pick out of the Monahan deal that would be awesome!! Let's go Flames!!
