  1. -streit was a better pick up then benn? hardly... -both teams had there injuries but more so pitts. johansen was definitly a loss but he did get to play 2.5 of the 4 series at least. -i believe all of the preds D struggled against an aggressive 2 man forecheck and D holding the offensive blue line "including Subban" who resorted to dumping and flipping the puck over on most occasions. i can count numerous times PK's outlet pass was blocked deflected or turned over as well... not saying he played any better or any worse. but i definitly dont think he can be excluded from the defense who all seemed to struggle at times moving the puck out of their zone. -who would of thought pK's antics wake up the best player in hockey...it wasnt just the listerine i though it was more so when pk was bear hunging his skate and sid was tapping on his noggin that he said enough is enough with this guy...
  2. man o man.... watching the stanley cup finals media scrums and i couldnt miss PK more so then i do right now... forget who is who on the ice. this guys a dude and we f#$ked up!
  3. So we trade the guy who scored 30+ a year even through his slumps at 4.5 a year? What we should do is parlay his cheap Cap rate and get another player. pacioretty is not the Problem. The problem is his cap savings are wasted on others who don't or aren't contributing to the scoresheet.
  4. Pacioretty (Tavares) radulov Lehkonan Thornton* dadonov* Byron Danault Gallagher Hudon Bonino* Shaw Mitchell Flynn Markov Weber Emelin Petry Jerabek Benn Davidson Price montoya trade tavares 4th Rd 2017 5th Rd 2018 to MTL for galchenyuk Beaulieau McCarron Victor Mete 1st Rd 2017 2nd 2018 UFA Thornton 2 yrs bonino 4yrs Dadonov 2 yrs plex clAimed by expansion vegas ..... it's how I'd arm chair GM total C revamped and id draft only centres and Dmen in 2017
  5. lol you mean you don't wanna see big MMcC between Rads and patches as early as tonight? lol how about Galchenyuk McCarron and Shaw... All i said was it was nice reward pushing a veteran like out of the line up to get another start...
  6. I've seen a vast improvement in McCarrons play recently, particularly the last 2 games. He's wanting the puck more often, and not just skating around with no meaning. He also doesnt look as slow as before, as his puck tracking has improved... A place in the line up this late in the season is a nice reward and a confidence booster.
  7. Byron is way to fast to be playing on a line with OTT and McCarron
  8. That was arguably the worst habs game I've ever been to...
  9. you know who looks better and better each passing game heading towards the playoffs? Andrew Shaw!
  10. He essentially went a week without a game out west... so I'm a believer that he's gotten plenty of rest this year. I personally would play him sunday Tuesday thurs Saturday. He hasn't played back to backs all year so why start now?
  11. How much does radulov love Montreal again....
  12. Honestly, the biggest problem with this team..... shooting freakin accuracy!!
  13. i think Julien is just looking to get a proper look at davidson and as we know markov petry weber and surprisingly benn are staying in the line up. which leaves emelin and beau as the odd man out. with emelin already sitting, its beau's turn up. also, his TOI up under MT vs julien could actually be a reflection of him playing 20+ minutes during markov's extended injury absence. and now he's settled down to about 17+ min which is ideal for a 3rd pair (about 15% of available TOI)
  14. They let or they had to?? lets be honest here, Chicago was horrible for over 10 seasons after the departures of roenick, Belfour and chelios.... And it took a while to stock pile picks and assets. drafting toews 3rd overall and finishing 4th last but managing to win the lottery and getting Kane really helped. trading for guys like handzus and Ladd, and free agent signings like Campbell, Panarin and Hossa to name a few have been able to take them to another level quicker, not to mention the willingness to get rid of Savard as coach and hire a stud like Quenville. So many factors come to play in the rise of what is Chicago today. All this while not mentioning the words Tallon and now Bowman. gift wrapped superstars like a captains captain (toews) and the offensive dynamo (Kane) can transform a club instantly. Add a steady hand like seabrook 14th overall and steady G from Crawford and the core is substantial. Crawford Price Seabrook Weber* Keith. Markov Hossa.* Pacioretty Toews. Galchenyuk Kane. Radulov* *UFA keep in mind Duncan Keith and Crawford at like 50th overall and the Big Dusty Buffy at like 250th (a late gem) will only make them that much better as 2nd round successes. we got subban at 45th and Gallagher at like a millionth so we've had our share... The biggest difference between us, is their core has always been able to step up to the plate at the biggest of stages in the NHL and the jury is still out on our newly assembled and constantly revolving core
  15. well there goes price running the table until the home and home against OTT...
  16. he checked out mentally like the rest of them, never once did i say he purposely gave up goals!! that would question is integrity! dont twist my words just like you ask others not to do to yours! thanks but speculation of him being exhausted is just that as well, speculation! Price said the problem was between the ears not tiredness. mental exhaustion maybe? working with MT would be the most likely scenario? also, i for one dont believe CP has been over worked in the least bit. he played in the world cup yes, but was also given most of training camp off as well as a full week off to start the season. he also played only 6 games in a 22 day stretch over christmas from dec 22 to jan 12. got to take it easy during the all star break while still staying fresh on the ice and just had another full week off. he's played next to none back to backs on top of it all! im saying 3 games in 8 days out west isnt gonna burn anyone out and if he continues to win and plays each game till next weekends back to back it would simply be 5 games in 14 days... hardely a tough stretch and if anything would help keep him in form!
  17. -he wasnt fatigued before the break, he wanted his coach ousted -hes two weeks off a weeks vacation and there is no back to backs my guess is we ride the wave at the moment and he starts tonight in calgary if he wins he plays sunday in edmonton, if he wins he plays against chicago tuesday, if he wins he plays saturday against OTT and win or lose montoya gets the back end of the home and home vs OTT. thats what i would do... but im not the coach
