  1. Sven is like radulov and plays RW LW Pacioretty Lehtkonan Reway Byron Carr* RW Radulov Gallagher Shaw Flynn Andrighetto C Galchenyuk Plex DD**** Danault Mitchell McCarron* DeLaRose* * waiver exempt *** on "my" not in starting line up That's our depth chart I think...
  2. hence the question mark... i actually liked him... fast and heavy hitter
  3. markov petry nate n' shea emelin pateryn babario redmond opening night!!
  4. but who's better now josi or PK? who carries the puck through the neutral zone now?
  5. i dont think there is a place for DD on this team. MB wants danault in this line up and he'll play in a 3rd line roll. carr will be sent down with de la rose and mccarron as they do not to be placed on waivers... all of andrighetto lehtkonan and reway will make the team. matteau, lessio? holy we have alot of 4th liners...
  6. who do you think is a better defenseman? roman josi or pk subban? are they to much of the same thing? only one guy can carry the puck up the ice at a time you know and dazzle, someone has to stay home... who's better ryan suter or roman josi? is ryan suter better now in minny then he was in nashville? all i know is whoever plays with weber over time is regarded as an elite defencemen... this bodes well for a certain nathan beaulieau. i just cant buy the rhetoric i here about how weber was carried by his partner. what a crock of sh....
  7. If Montreal wins the Cup.... This trade was so worth it..... Screw everything else!
  8. I laugh when I hear how a guy who scored 20 goals had 51 points and is feared by most players and lavished praise by all gm and coaches rather then media and analysts is on the decline... Can't wait to see his bounce back year?
  9. Andrew shaw is the latest to thank the hockey gods he doesn't have to play Weber anymore... Says he broke his ribs in the past lol
  10. FW Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Radulov Lehkonen- Plekanec - Gallagher Andrighetto - Danault - Shaw Byron - Mitchell - Flynn DeLaRose Reway Carr Lessio Beaulieau Weber Markov Petry Barberio Pateryn Redmond hanley Price Montoya Codon
  11. Lol... Souray compared to Weber is a joke. Pierre LeBrun just said Weber played a big role in getting Nashville to bring radulov back for that short stint at end of season and playoffs. Subban for Weber and radulov looks much better now and I'm very interested in what Price's view was on the trade and if he was consulted, does "HE" prefer Weber over PK? If so, Im all for it! About time we got a 6'4 Dman (best in the business at that style) to protect arguably the best player on the planet... I'll miss that spinarama....
  12. MB confirms he's currently in negotiations with both reway and lehtkonan... Reway looking for deal in place prior to start of worlds...
  13. Still think lehkonan and or reway will find there way to the NHL.
  14. I didn't say mcCarron was gonna play on our 2 scoring lines.... Galchenyuk and plex are top 2 C ... I'd like to see him maybe play in the 3 Spot and try and move Eller. Reway and lehkonan. one on the 2nd and the other on the 3rd. Due away with DD as in off the team... To say reway is a lost cause is just foolish at this point. Watch the worlds and tell me he wouldn't be a good add...
  15. Am I the only one hoping the habs add... Mike Mccarron And convince these euro's to come over? Atturi Lehkonen Martin Reway Then get 1 UFA who won't break the bank on term over dollars
  16. I don't care how many jacks, Conner, or Austin Mathews we would draft. I would never ever ever want to endure what those teams fans have to endure and are still not there yet!
  17. wonder what happens when he is ready to play? scratch?
  18. id take all of giroux bergeron vlasic letang statsny perron demers crawford(obviously not over price) talbot(as a back up) on my team and thats not including the higher picks we didnt have a chance at like drouin duclair, huberdeau dont get me wrong i wouldnt want to draft a french player just to draft a french player.... but with teams increasingly looking outside the Q and at imports more often then not rather then french born players, there is definitely opportunity here...
  19. the one thing i will say about the french debate is that the most successful times has a hab, when we were at our best and winning championships was when they made drafting french players a priority.... recently they stopped drafting french players and opted for french management... i understand that the lecavalier's and drouins of the world drafted in the top 5 are pipe dreams... but at some point our drafting and coaching strategy has changed and we missed out on players like giroux for david fischer and patrice bergeron for cory urquart? we have always, always had a strong contingent of french Canadian players and there is absolutely no reason why the Q shouldn't be heavily scouted by the habs and we should be drafting these guys in the later rounds. best available coach regardless and lets start drafting some flying frenchmen again!!.... i'm pretty sure the media would not make a single peep if we had 5/7 good impact french canadiens and an extremely competent english coach. if picking up danault and matteau are the start of moving back to this strategy I'm all game...
  20. Looks like chucky can add RW to his resume of positions
  21. smith-pelly was a leaf fan growing up kadri a hab fan the one thing you take from those tears is that there is NO RIFT in that locker room and hasnt been for some time... this group is tight!!
  22. not sure what to think on bickell... -he is currently playing his 6th season as a regular... -5 straight playoff appearances -4 of those 5 appearances he's been better in the playoffs then reg season. so which story tells the true story. years 1 thru 4 or year 5 2010–11--- 78gm 17g 20a 37pts playoffs 5gm 2g 2a 4pts 2011–12--- 71 9 15 24 playoffs 6 2 0 2 2012–13--- 48 9 14 23 playoffs 23 9 8 17 2013–14--- 59 11 41 52 playoffs 19 7 3 10 2014–15--- 80 14 14 28 playoffs 18 0 5 5 so looking at his whole playoff career he's performed better in 4 of 5 seasons and doubled his rate of scoring in the playoffs each year but LY... (the toughest time to score)... not labelling him clutch or anything of that nature but "stats dont lie"and his playoff stats are better then his regular season stats over 80% of his career thus far... with that said, obviously his name shouldnt even be mentioned in the same breath as max but comparing him to say dale weise who is still trying to build a playoff reputation.... after strong play the last 2 seasons in montrea would be more ideal.
