Either LW, both having barely buried any pucks this season, can gtfo of the way for Caufield on the PP IMO: Drouin: 2G Tatar: 5G Take your pick. Replacing either of those two with Caufield, and having him blast one-timers from the left circle is what I want to see.

Even a short tank that snags you the top pick one time might not do much for you; for every Connor McDavid or Nathan MacKinnon, there is a Rasmus Dahlin or an Alexis Lafreniere who make no impact at all early on...and might never be that franchise player. I think this team just needs a couple of tweaks and one break to look much better: a blueline upgrade who can skate and pass well, another larger forward who can score, preferably at center (more de-smurfing!), and Cole Caufield developing as a sniper asap.

This is disgusting. In the first period, the team sleepwalks and gets dominated, with a boneheaded offensive zone penalty by Gallagher to ice the cake. Second period, Price decides to join the idiot party with a giveaway that was lucklily not a goal thanks to the kicking motion.

So far, we look like a team that just finished playing a game 19hrs ago.
