You called it. Fans are dense...should have recognized that the early 'ole' is a curse and stopped doing it long ago.

I hate the early singing.

The extra pass was hurting us in the O zone, and those soft passes/clear attempts were hurting us in the D zone. If they clean both of those issues up, maybe we can get a 3rd period that doesn't give us all an ulcer.

We need to go get that next 'dagger' goal....and I really hope Hutson assists on it when it happens.

I'm seriously thinking about Laine, but I'm fine getting Slaf off of there so board battles are not as important when we maintain possession by moving around. I want to see Hutson and Demidov holding it, looking like menaces to cut into the middle and causing chaos for the defenders.

We are coached by fools...wasting Demidov with the pp2 plugs. That extra pass at the end of that PP made me want to break something.

Matheson drives me nuts. Demidov wide open on the far boards, no checkers in the passing lane...force it on the near boards to a closely checked teammate instead.

My nerves are building...I really hope the shitty outcome last game shames them into a higher effort level tonight.

I agree...damn near anyone is going to seem inadequate stacked up against the memory of prime Carey Price.

That's what I'm thinking after watching these past 3 games. Before that, I was gung-ho to take a shot at playoff tickets. Now, I see we are really not quite 'there' yet, and the lack of a 2C and at least one upgrade on the blueline is still needed before we can really expect to compete with good teams. I think that if they do squeak in, I will save my money for next season.

I jumped off of the couch...high into the air. Haven't done that in the regular season before. What a start for 93!

I think the arrival of Demidov is going to create internal competition for the RW1 position, and that's a good thing. Slaf needs a kick in the ass to bring maximum effort more consistently, and knowing he has to earn his position night in and night out should do that. Demidov also has something to chase...this should make both players better in a shorter timeframe.

I hope that a combination of Demidov and our raucous fans can give the team a spark...they desperately need a boost in energy and confidence.

If he just pops up and skates his a** off to the bench right away, they would have been all right.

You'd think they were gunning for the 'shots high or wide' record the way this game has gone so far.

Might as well try Demidov on PP1 right off the hop on Monday...couldn't possibly do any worse than the current PP1 wingers are.

It's nice to not be down a goal or two after the first period for a chance, but having only two shots on net is ridiculous.
