in Gatineau we would like more means to get into Ottawa but Ottawa already have enough to get into Gatineau., so for them its not a big priority. They are more concerned with east-west trafic than in beetween the 2 provinces.

Yeah it's in Kanata Altough I have to be fair. It really was the middle of nowhere when it was first built but that sector has grown A LOT since. To economise $$$ since land vavlue is considerably lower they're than in downtown.

The By market area , Rideau Centre and Bank street are fairly interesting. Not anything close to what you can find in Montréal tough, but it's far superior to what you get in Gatineau. They're is also the Corel Centre ( I refuse to call it by its dumb new name) that is good but its sooooo far away.. it easilly takes 45 minutes on games day to get theyre. Considering than the Bell Centre is 2:15 - 2:30 away from me and I'm a much bigger Habs fan than Sens fan... Plus Bell Centre aint built in the middle of nowhere. Altough if you're just looking to get drunk, the bars in my town do the job just fine. And we also have the Gatineau Olympiques in the Q, the field a competitve team year after year

I really didnt chose my day to go to Montréal, my buddy and I were only a few blocks away when it happened. We get off Atwater station, everything is normal. We go to the old forum, everything is normal. We go to the Bell Centre to buy tickets, everything is normal. And we go back to Atwater station and I never saw so many police cars in my life before and everything is blocked. All of a sudden a lot of people started running in our direction and they looked very scared but thankfully that was a false alarm. For a few seconds I was scared than my life was in danger too. We didnt wanted to know more, we just walked to the closest open metro station, went back to where the car was parked , hoped in the car and GTFO of Montréa as quick as we canl.
