  1. Streaming does work there if you have a decent mobile connection!
  2. And now an update from Detroit ... In terms of $/point, Bernier clearly provides the best value.
  3. Caufield scores in OT to give the US a 4-3 win over the Czechs.
  4. 4:22 of Danault’s 23:23 was on PK.
  5. There was also this little Finnish guy, almost the same size as Gallagher, who never gave up. Saku something maybe?
  6. Price may not be to blame for all (or even most) of the goals, but he's not saving the near-impossible that he once did. If he cannot pick up his performance (and soon), our chances of a playoff berth are pretty much nil.
  7. Not bouncing our way, to be sure.
  8. They were handing over gift-wrapped scoring chances. By the dozen. It was only a matter of time. The good thing is that we are still at 3-3.
  9. Stay out of the box. They are playing well enough to score some more on the Panthers if they can keep their own end clean.
  10. The referees do so love the Habs ...
  11. -3 for the night for the Lehkonen-Domi-Suzuki line, in spite of Domi's goal: they were on the ice for four of the five Tampa goals and gave up six of Tampa's 11 high-danger scoring chances. Ouch. On the upside, Kotkaniemi was solid with Cousins and Weal, and they did not give up many chances to Tampa, either (same for the top line as well).
  12. OK, sure ... but three goals on six shots in this period?
  13. Yeah. It seems like Domi’s goal did wake them up.
  14. I had just been thinking that all these shots are nice, but we better score at least one more before TB wakes up.
  15. That goal should do wonders for his confidence.
  16. Neither one is very expensive. But can they actually improve our fourth (?) line? Granlund has been a roughly 20-30 point scorer for the past few seasons but has struggled in Edmonton, would Julien be able to bring him back to form? He's only 26 so not too old yet. Andreoff is two years older and hasn't scored more than 0.2 ppg in a season yet, so the ceiling looks lower.
  17. So ... Mete is back. And we think Kotkaniemi tomorrow. But we're still missing Drouin, Armia, Byron and Peca. And Laval has Poehling, Belzile, Juulsen, Varone, Weise and Hudon injured. That's a pretty long list. Fortunately most of them are not major injuries.
  18. Well ... so what is a "decade" in this context? If it's January 2010 to December 2019, then the 2010 playoffs are included. If it's 2010-2011 to 2019-2020 seasons, then not (but current season is only half included at this point).
  19. He only had one season with the Habs in this decade, but I would put Halak in as the backup on the strength of the 2010 playoff run alone.
  20. Right. And there are only so many available roster spots between the Habs and the Rocket -- we surely don't want to be sending quality prospects to the ECHL!
  21. That makes sense from a Habs perspective, does it not? He has not yet played top-level SHL so I think it's good for him to gain that experience.
  22. Thanks ... hopefully not serious, then.
  23. What happened to Armia? Did it look serious? We really don't need any more injuries right now. 😓
  24. Kotkaniemi still wearing a no-contact sweater in today's practice.
