  1. 8 days until La Soirée du Hockey !!!
  2. i think the 4th line should/has to be the checking line : Bégin, Lapierre, Kostopoulos. Murray AIN'T physical, he just skate hard everywhere and hit like a Bantam AA guy. He has no offensive skills, will never (in my mind) be allowed to kill penality, he has nothing to do on the team.
  3. I just can't stand that Garth Murray will spend another year in Montreal
  4. Here is mine Higgins - Koivu - Ryder Latendresse - Plex - Kovalev A. Kost - Chipchura - D'Agostini Bégin - Smolinski - Lapierre Murray, Kostopoulos Markov - Komi Streit - Hamrlik Bouillon - Dandenault Gorges I REALLY wish O'Byrne on the roster instead of Dandy (throw him for a 4th...) Huet - Halak (i know for the waiver issue with Danis, but i REALLY don't care if he gets claim on waivers)
  5. They all said they'd like to play together... It's time to show what Bielorussians are made of !!!
  6. hey PTG, these jerseys don't make Kost brothers look skinny... I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with the news jerseys.
  7. The Milsa on Bishop if you and your wife like meat a lot is very nice. 3 Amigos for mexican, if you're up to spend a shitload of money, suggest you Queue de Cheval. It's better when you leave downtown to get to Le Plateau... much more choices.
  8. i noticed some others great fights by Chara. Chara vs Cheechoo, Chara vs Hinote, very fair fights...
  9. That's why they'll open a first HOOTERS in Greenfield Park southshore of Montreal !!! edit : http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20070917...NTPAGE/70912061

  16. The problem is that they're playing A LOT of preseason games in a short laps of time. So they have to keep more players than they should.
  17. The rocket deserved one because of the political aspect of the movie, not the hockey thing. Now, move on...
  18. The Rocket deserve one. Doesn't mean Béliveau, Geoffrion, The Big 3 and Jacques Plante does...
  19. plz tell me that the end of this video is made up by some ways !!! he can't just shoot three or four times on the pots and having the ball back right on him each time ?!?!?!?!
  20. Well what i'm basically trying to say, is that the men who produce or the directors or any persons involved in some of the comics movies seems to only ride on the Spider Man wave and shoot a movie just to shoot a movie. There is no arstistic steps, they don't even seem to think about if it's good or not, they just want to please the comics books fans. As exemples : Hulk 2003 Worldwide Gross $225,600,000 Production Budget $137,000,000 Prints and Advertising Budget $35,000,000 http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/2003/HULK.php Elektra 2005 Worldwide Gross $56,409,722 Production Budget $65,000,000 http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/2005/ELEKT.php Batman 1989 Tim Burton Worldwide Gross $413,200,000 Production Budget $35,000,000 Prints and Advertising Budget $15,000,000 Batman Begins 2005 Nolan Worldwide Gross $371,824,647 Production Budget $150,000,000 Ad Budget (Nielsen): $44,400,000 Lord of the Rings part 1 Worldwide Gross $868,621,686 Production Budget $109,000,000 Prints and Advertising Budget $40,000,000 Rentals $150,000,000 http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/2001/LRDRN.php This is kind of the same with LOTR : they had first a really big fans basis who read the books. I went to see LOTR for the first time, knowing absolutely NOTHING about this story, then when I left the theatre, I said : it was amazing, great movie. It was evident that the crew took the time they needed to get this project done, they polished it, gave their 100%. and i went to buy the books. When I saw Hulk, i just said : oh, they wanted to shoot a movie and did it. I don't even thought about buying the comic books, WHAT I DID for Sin City because this movie was awesome in many ways. A good comic book WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY make a good movie, as you seem to think. I'd be curious to see how many people read the LOTR books after the 1rst movie came out, and curious to see how many people read Hulk's comic books after the movie... A good movie, IMO, is a movie who will attract people who weren't fan before, who were suprised by the quality of this story/movie. As a non-comic books-fan, i look at the movies objectively.
  21. Again and again, my point exactly. The real difference between a good comic book and a good movie. Burton came with a story and put it on screen awesomely (can i say that word). Nolan did it too. the others just missed the point, no matter if they stuck to the book. On screen, Burton's world is the best to develop a Batman movie. Nolan is good too. and for Hulk, i takes like 30 minutes till Hulk become Hulk in the movie and it's WAY to long. If it would have a great story to tell, i would't care the 30 min, but the story sucks. Again, all of this IMHO.
  22. i will be there on Oct 13 against Carolina.
