  1. oh maybe it's his dad who was the habs fan i just remember seeing a interview of him and hearing something of the sort, plus he's from the east coast, a lot of habs support there.
  2. I Say Good ridance. I liked Souray, it was a cool season with the new record what not and the allstar game, but come on he was minus 20 something, the guy could barely stop any forward, Spezza completely undressed him. I'd much rather Hamrlik who's a solid Dman. Let the forwards do the scoring we need defence who can play defence. Good bye souray and good luck
  3. Im starting to get worried about Ryder and this arbitration business. I thought Ryder would have been one of Gainey's top priorities this summer. He is our top scorer and an all round good player. Remember that game against T dot last season. Was it four goals he had? Anyway he's said he likes montreal he was a habs fan growing up. I think he needs to be signed. NOW :hlogo:
  4. I dont know what some of you guys are talking about Pleks was arguably one of the habs' most consistent players. He worked pretty F*cking hard on offence and defence. I'm glad that he's gotten a raise I think he deserves it, he killed it down the stretch last year, one of the few habs to actually show some work ethic.
  5. nerves are rattled, im counting down the minutes until the game. It will be intense, I hope Huey is in net. He's got the experience against the leafs and killed them last year in those two home games. Let's ###### these guys up boys and get a nice clean win. :hlogo: go habs go
  6. I'd say Markov. Without Markov, habs would be in some serious defensive trouble, Shelly is taking all the spotlight away from Markov with his intense shot and amount of goals (which is amazing) but he isn't that solid of a D man. Markov is arguably one of the best. He logs the most minutes, and can really shut guys down. I think he's key to the habs' success and is the most unsung hero. He should be a resigning priority. :hlogo:
  7. Anyone see Jack Johnson get decked last night, by the former habs! it was sweeeeeeet. i think it was jan bulis?
  8. Heatly hasn't missed a game since he joined the Senators. I don't think a sore ankle is going to make him miss his first. He'll play, but with reduced minutes. Maybe more so on the power play. Habs have to bring it tonight. :hlogo:
  9. Chelios never should have been traded away. Then again, neither should Carbo, or Muller
  10. hahah that's a new verb. Halak'd How about Muller and Carbo suit up for the game against the Sens. Maybe even Gainey. Get some more depth ahahah
  11. Drawing from any habs players EVER Mine would be : Kirk Muller (child hood hero) Maurice Richard, Jean Bealiveau Too many defensive options Goal: Jacques Plante Back up: Patrick Roy
  12. I'm from london ontario and was lucky enough to see #### play for the knights. I knew he was amazing the first time I saw him, it's awesome he's rocking the habs now! :hlogo:
  13. Don't get down on koivu after one season, he's an intense on the face off, we need that, there is no other centre on the team that can fill that position.
  14. Good to see some good coverage on the habs on tsn. I'm sick of reading shit talk about the habs from that one sided station. LONG LIVE RDS
  15. I like Carbo's confidence in Halak. Go with the hot hand, good choice.
  16. I don't understand why people feel that they need to bash shit on every post. Yea Kostitsyn has some minor flaws, the pass to pleky was sketchy. But the bottom line is he has showed up since getting called up and has helped the habs win 5 in a row. That's huge no matter what you think :hlogo:
  17. Shanny would have been great, but shit happens, Habs are still doing almost aswell if not just aswell as the NYR. Saku rules :hlogo:
