Can Galchenyuk just hit the net. I don't even care if you score, just hit the net. -

Patches has been the worst forward tonight. If he's hurt, sit him to heal. If he's not, sit him to send a message. Ahh.. Gally needs to bury that.. Fack -

Well, it's a lead going into the third.. But if they have another period like the 2nd, they'll lose. -

Drouin leaves his AHL team, suspended indefinitely

JUST TRADE FOR THE GUY ALREADY.. C'MON MB! MAKE IT HAPPEN -
I don't blame the kid. The way contracts work, I'd do the same thing. You're at your job, expecting to earn $5000 a day. You work your whole (albeit young) life to get where you are. You perform well enough to earn that. And your boss tells you no, now go earn $400 and hopefully you don't get injured. This isn't a 3rd/4th line talent who's acting like a star. This is a star (in the making) who's being treated like a 4th liner.
-
Third line could be: DD - Pleks - Eller hahahahahaha
-
Trade Ideas.. Blow it UP! Drouin for Scherbak, Juulsen, and Adrighetto. Eberle and Davidson for Beaulieu, Carr, Draft Pick Pacioretty + for Couture Subban for Seguin and Jokipakka Markov and Galchenyuk for Vatanen and Silverberg New Top 6: Drouin Seguin Eberle Silverberg Couture Gallagher D becomes: Vatanen Petry Jokipakka Emelin Davidson Pateryn Too much NHL16 for me.. But the waiting for something (ANYTHING) to happen is killing me

Put together a package and got get this kid. He'd be in our top 3 or 4 forwards. -
Need this one.. GO HABS GO!
-
I would trade ANY player on this team if it meant Montreal winning the cup this year. Chicago won the cup. EVERY trade they made last year was a win.
-
Any chance Habs claim Kindl from Detroit? I'm sure he gets claimed, but will he fall enough to Montreal.
-
I don't think he's a bust. Way too soon. I'm saying, if Tampa were to think he is a bust then they would be smart to deal him within the division. All this talk about Yzerman not moving him within the division... Makes zero sense if they feel he's not a quality player.
-
If Drouin is what Tampa thinks he is.. a floater, or too small, or lazy.. then why not trade him within the division and hope you're right. It'd be a double win. Go get some good prospects from a Division rival for a guy you think isn't going to amount to much. If Yzerman truly believes that Drouin isn't a top 6 guy, then trade him to Montreal/Ottawa/Detroit and fleece your rivals talent pool. If Yzerman thinks he has the potential to be a Patrick Kane type player, then you hold on to him and see what he becomes. If Bergevin truly thought a top prospect of Montreal was going to be a bust, I'd hope he have the smarts to trade him to Tampa or Boston or Ottawa..
-
Iginla doesn't put the team over the top. Nice addition, but not something the Rangers or Tampa are going to really worry about. Simmonds puts this team over the top, in my opinion. He's exactly the type of player this team is missing.
-
You lose a bit by adding Pateryn to the lineup over Beaulieu, but thats why you have Price. The amount you gain by adding Simmonds just makes Beaulieu expendable. Plus, you get Simmonds at under 4 for three years. The window is wide open for that gap!
-
Granted, Markov is in the last phase of his career, but if you can add Simmonds for Beaulieu then you DO IT. Beaulieu is a top 4 dman. Not the easiest thing to replace but not the hardest. Simmonds is a POWER forward. A top liner. A guy other teams must account for. Not the easiest player to obtain. Not the easiest player to draft. You add Simmonds to the forward group.. Lookout!!!!
-
MAKE IT HAPPEN! If that's all it takes to get Simmonds, you do it. Figure out the cap by moving a piece somewhere else, but Simmonds is exactly the type of player missing from the Habs. Tough losing Beaulieu, but with Tinordi and Pateryn, you still have capable D-Men ready to step in. Question is.. Is the gap between Beaulieu and Pateryn worth the gap between Ghetto and Simmonds.. Eller - Galchenyuk - Simmonds Pacs - Pleks - Gallagher Two good scoring lines
-
Pacs is a safe choice, but if I'm picking then it goes to Gallagher. It's amazing to me how many Canadiens players pick him as "Heart" when they're building their ultimate player. He gives it everything, every shift. What more can you ask for?
