  1. PMAC=MN Droll, very droll, DHF:)
  2. Is that a slight against desert- dwelling Habs fans? Next, the Mods will change my avatar to desert hermit and I will have to leave in a huff:( THIS IS A JOKE..... I REPEAT THIS IS A JOKE. [Edited on 2005/12/12 by PMAC] [Edited on 2005/12/12 by PMAC]
  3. What those of you who are calling for Claude's head are forgetting that a young team does suffer these kinds of growing pains, particularly when two of its best leaders are injured. As part of my campain to become the next HW Nostradamus:) I predict....." as the year of the natural disaster draws to a close there will be unrest in habs land.......As the injured heros lick their wounds the fearless leader will make no major changes..."
  4. That would be a good move the for the organization. Kind of like trading water for sand when you live in a desert
  5. merely a black George Carlin??? Surely you jest!
  6. Right now, I don't care who's where... I'm just glad they are back in action,:ghg::ghg::ghg::ghg::ghg::ghg: We need a win tonight
  7. Good point, Grasshopper, but even eminent seers are not priviledged to see more than a glimpse of their own fate. And, I'm afraid that the nature of any future designation of mine at HW is blocked even from my awesome power:bow:
  8. I really like all of the pictures in this thread, but the best habs pictures to me are any of the 25 team pictures that feature the Habs with the Cup. In second place, Koivu's photo.
  9. Hey MN if you don't want the Nostradamus title can I have it? can I? Can I? PLLLLLEAAAAASSSSEEEEEE! I'll be a good Nostradamus, I promise. I've even started practising! I had a dream last night that Riberio had been traded (Unfortunately, I can't remember who we got, but I'm new at this eminent seer gig). But, I remember thinking that Habs World would rejoice, so it must have beeen good:) SO, Can I be the next HW Nostradamus? Can I? Can I? PLLLLLEAAAAASSSSEEEEEE!
  10. Savard almost had a deal for Stevie Y, but the Red Wings backed out at the last minute. Good for them, bad for us. I can't remember the year or who was supposed to be involved though
  11. My vote also goes to Nilan for his combination of toughness and hockey skill. He was an excellent skater and a tough fighter. Kordic's biggest contribution to the Habs was getting traded to TO for Russ Courtnall. John Ferguson gets an honorable mention on reputation alone. Worst, Blouin, Mick Vukota
  12. Who knows? Ryder went from the AHL to the ECHL and back again before he made it to MTL and was an unexpected gem. I wouldn't give up on the kid yet. I meant unexpected [Edited on 2005/12/10 by PMAC]
  13. As one of the people who was pissed off with the Hossa trade( not whining, I was bitching, moaning and complaining) I was upset that Bob wasn't able to get more because Hossa had a good camp and still had(has) some of the mythical upside that scouts like to talk about. I wasn't concerned that Hossa was going to set the world on fire for New York, but I wondered then and still wonder now if Murray will ever make a contribution to the Habs. Hossa is still on the roster of a pretty good Rags team while Murray was nailed to the bench in his emergency "debut" in MTL and is back in Hamilton, presumably for good. 14. This is from Pat Hickey in the Gazette: Apparently RB has the support of the coach who should know better than anyone who is putting forth the effort he demands. I like CJ supporting his players but I also like Bonk accepting his share of blame Friday, December 09, 2005 Canadiens coach Claude Julien said last week that Radek Bonk has had to put up with a "lot of crap" this season, but the veteran forward says he's not upset by the criticism hurled in his direction. "Some of it might be my fault," said Bonk, sidelined indefinitely with a torn muscle in his groin. "I haven't played well because I've been hurt and I've tried to play through it. Maybe, if I hadn't tried to play ..."
  15. Do you think even Milbury would be foolish enough to sign or trade for this guy again???!!!! Then again, we are talking about Milbury. I wonder what he has pictures of...
  16. I was just thinking about a thread about nothing and volia! Trizzak delivers. It feels like the Habs haven't played in a month
  17. I dont think any player, except maybe a *&^^@$!!!! like B. Marchment, enjoys injuring another player.
  18. Surprise, surprise! Czerkawski is doing nothing in TO and is according to David Shoalts in the G&M is " the odds- on favorite to go to the Marlies" It's about time some of the Laaughs moves went more wrong. IF they were able to keep all their oft-injured crew healthy and get this guy to produce then it would be obvious that JFJ had sold his soul to the
  19. One of the best young rookies in the league for a mediocre, hardly played, failed in his first NA attempt, D-man and a draft pick. How will Cal ever hold themselves back from such a deal? Who's their new GM R. Houle?
  20. I agree, SOCALHAB, SO maybe a point-getter, but he is not going to improve our defensive performance or team toughness
  21. That is good news. It's always difficult losing a loved one, especially a parent. I hope he is able to channel his grief into good, aggressive play on the ice.
  22. I hope BG doesn't do the deal as stated:nono:
  23. I would say that 3 goals in 2 games validates CJ's decision to give him the ice time. And in Steit's case we didnt have any other Dman except Cote
