Go Habs
  2. 3 wins over Ottawa in the last two weeks, all games ended 5-2. The odds of that are insane
  3. He couldn't stay at center with the Montreal "we need anybody with a pulse to play center" Canadiens for 6 years...and now he can't get a spot there with the Arizona "just happy to be in the league" Coyotes. Your point is that Stepan and Schmaltz are better at center, therefore it is okay he is on the wing, how is that even a good thing for Galchenyuk and whatever your argument is? Stepan and Schultz..... In other news, Max Domi continues to rip it up for the Habs who are off to a surprising start with their #1 center leading the way
  4. Will the no-name back up goalie stone the Habs like they have the last decade, or will the new look Habs light him up? Stay tuned
  5. Niemi was absolutely brutal in this one, it seemed like every puck directed towards the net had a chance of going in. I actually think if Price started the game looking the way he did in relief, the score would have been close. I also dislike not putting Rielly into the game against his former team. It seems to me that players have more of an impact than normal in those situations. On to the next one
  6. Just gonna leave this beauty here. Weber has 3 goals, 2 assists, +5, 20 hits, and a 60.5% CF in the 6 games since returning. Not too bad for missing a full year with two different injuries. If this is him "slowing down", I'd hate to see him at full capacity. Dad is home
  7. He couldn't prove himself at center over 6 seasons for an organization that was practically crying for one for the better part of this millennium. That's how dumb some people thought Habs management were.
  8. Three illWill GDT wins a row, going for four! I'll make these things till the end of time as long as they keep winning. Not sure on the lineups as of the time of this post
  9. Keeping with tradition, here's my GDT after a win last game. I'm tied up at work so if someone else wants to post the lines and other stuff that'd be great
  10. Can't change my post, but you heard it from the man himself folks, Peca in. I'm flying up there shortly and will be in attendance for this game, so I am hoping for some Kotkaniemi dishes, Weber clappers, Drouin dangles, Price robberies and perhaps even some Domi punches.
  11. They offered Markov a contract They offered Radulov a contract Emelin got selected in the expansion draft Galchenyuk is American They picked Romanov in the draft Where exactly is the racism towards Russians? Let's not confuse an underachieving player who didn't even impress his coach in the AHL with racism
  12. I like that they at least swung for the fences while selecting him with their late first round pick at the draft. A high risk, high reward type pick that didn't work out. Oh well
  13. It's crazy how every NHL coach he has had puts him on the wing, it's almost as if he is better as a winger.
  14. We just have to hope they don't win the cup this year
  15. Weber moves into a tie with Subban with 2 goals on the season. I only wish that Weber wasn't washed up or else he would be more effective
  16. The only thing I can think of would be something to do with Jeff Petry to help the right side of their back end and some sort of cap dump coming along with Nylander so they can sign their big guns next year. Habs have Weber, Juulsen and Brook for RHD lined up moving forward and Nylander would look great in the top 6
  17. Pretty stoked to watch Weber play again simply for entertainment purposes. Also stoked to see how this newish team plays with him as a part of the group. Dad is back
  18. Today I learned you are able to bear hug and then take down a player attempting to score without drawing a penalty.
  19. Habs go down by a goal with 10 minutes to play and my first thought was I wonder how they are going to tie it up. Man this team is fun to watch, this is what it is all about.
  20. That is talent and I am happy about that. It is a bit disheartening that he is right handed, as we currently have lots of depth there and not so much on the left side, but hopefully it all works itself out.
