Still completely hate this idea. Playoff system is awful. The only by product of the league change I see will be more tanking teams competing for picks because they can't compete against the couple big teams in their group. I like the idea of playing all the teams in the league... but now there are SO MANY more games that don't matter near as much because they aren't in your division and you aren't competing against them for a playoff spot. This change makes zero hockey sense imo. Simply about money. This set up bothers me more then the lockout did.

RNH is certainly off to a slow start... Eb's is playing, he just needs his playmaker to step it up

I think the kids need to be out on the ice more. Yes there was a few PP's for boston but Moen and Armstong shouldn't be getting more icetime then Gally2

Yah he is gone in my mind already as well. I wouldn't even care if he made himself into a quality player and we gave him up for little simply because I don't see anything in him now and we don't have the space.

Weekes has been awesome, I also like that he explains in game hockey things (like a random timbit about how Luongo's big feet make it hard to move to position) I never played hockey so those kinds of ins and outs are interesting to hear about.

I disagree. Our depth is a strong point this year. Moen is on the 4th line... last season didn't he get top 6 minutes at some point? Leblanc is in Hamilton, not doing well but probably will improve and a solid call up, we have Galchenyuk on the third and I'm sure he could move up if needed, Armstrong hasn't proved much but could be more then a 4th liner if the need arised (I'd say he is better then Darche at least), Eller hasn't been great but is an skilled young player who could play a top six role with a bit of improvement. We have depth on d... Overall I think depth, outside of goaltending, will only be an issue if rookie walls come up or some players go cold at the same time as injuries strike... course that would be an issue with any team.

I see no issues with our forth line. Moen-White-Armstrong is a great energy line, excluding White's one game where he lost his discipline.

Not a rumor... but I am wondering how much home ice is playing into the habs fast start. We are 4-1 at home and 1-1 on the road. Meanwhile teams like Philly who are "struggling" have are 2-1 at home and 1-5 on the road or Washington/Florida both 2-2 at home and both 0-3 on the road.
